Republicans are most responsible for stopping Trump from overriding our election.
Trump turned to his Republican staff, Republican congressman, Republican members of the Justice department, Republican office holders on the state level, to help confirm his lies about a rigged election.
Many spineless politicians agreed to support the false accusations without any proof.
But many Republicans, who voted for Trump, said they would not support the claims without evidence. Trump could not provide proof.
These strong Republicans stood up for the US and our Constitution.
Why doesn't the Republican party get behind these strong Republicans rather than spineless, self-serving Trump minions.

Those not willing to watch the hearing and make their own conclusions, yet they say it is a sham, are spineless.

They won't watch because it's so far out of their echo chamber and I assume they kind of know that they won't be able to refute what the committee is stating. It's a lot like being confronted by the idea that God probably isn't real when you're deeply religious.

Obviously all the craven Republicans who have enabled and profited from this madness have no shame. But yeah, we've now seen several who really were and are willing to put the country before their party and refuse to play along to save their bacon.

Thank goodness for them.

Were there any CROSS-EXAMINATION questions.

Thought so.

:cuckoo:
Well, they literally showing depositions, text, and direct witnesses. Hard to refute, wouldn't it?

Also, Mccharty rejected the idea of a commission of non-lawmakers chosen by both parties equally and pulled all members Republicans choose because Pelosi rejected 2 that are implicated in the exact thing they are investigating. Wanting representation when you rejected cooperation is not a little bit weird.

I'm not watching because it's the same shit almost every Presidency. The people in office that are paid by our tax dollars are wasting time and money while the economy is starting to go to shit. Don't worry after the Republicans beat the crap out of the Democrats in the upcoming elections they will stop the current bullshit and start their own bullshit. There is no difference between the parties anymore when it comes to fucking over the tax payer.

I've been watching.
And I see no cross-examination.
Therefore, it is an infomercial where all of the user's say it really works!

This is not Democracy.

There is no DUE PROCESS!

Cornell Law

Introduction

The Constitution states only one command twice. The Fifth Amendment says to the federal government that no one shall be "deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law." The Fourteenth Amendment, ratified in 1868, uses the same eleven words, called the Due Process Clause, to describe a legal obligation of all states. These words have as their central promise an assurance that all levels of American government must operate within the law ("legality") and provide fair procedures. Most of this essay concerns that promise. We should briefly note, however, three other uses that these words have had in American constitutional law.

From the people that attempted to derail Trump's 2016 win from November 9, 2016 on. Including challenging the electoral votes from some states.

And the people attempting to have Trump Electors switch their votes.

Then they stole the 2020 election. But yeah, the rutabaga got 81 million votes. :auiqs.jpg:

Bullshit!
If you didn't do better under Trump's 4 years, than you'll never do better, cop-out quisling!!

Where were you when members of this 6 Jan Committee voted to block the certification of past elections?

Where were you snowflakes when Al Gore attempted to disenfranchise military ballots when calling for a new Florida election?

Where were you snowflakes when Maxine Waters and other Democrats attempted to disenfranchise entire states' voters?

That was all good when it was being done for the benefit of the Democrat Party.

You've had no problem supporting the proven debunked criminal, seditious, treasonous attempts to overthrow the US govt by illegally removing a US resident from office based on proven lies and propaganda KNOWINGLY used.

So, it's both interesting and disgusting to watch you 'fine Americans' (TDS-suffering, obsessed, hate-driven sheep) get behind a 1-sided, un-official investigative committee that is supposed to be investing how the Capitol was breached while not even focusing on that, instead running a partisan political Kabuki theater show.

Would be relevant if this is a trial. This isn't. You supposedly have no problem understanding that when you opened the 8th investigative committee on Benghazi. Or the idea that a congressman will advise the president on impeachment strategy while at the same time being expected to serve as a juror on whether or not to impeach.

Due process only counts in a trial setting.

How about this for a dilemma. Rusty Bowers fits in the category of principled Repubs who refused to go along with the coup plot. He said he'd vote for Trump again anyway. What do you do with unhinged fools like that?

Scarborough praised this guy to high heaven yesterday and denounced him as a Trump cultist today.
He can't be both!
We'll never know as he wasn't cross-examined!!
