They hate immigrants. You hate your trading partners because Trump said they were "screwing you over". Democrats are generally positive and upbeat people. Trump spent his entire term trying to prosecute his political "enemies". Trump gets up every morning needing someone to destroy. Hate drives him. There's an old expression which says "It's really hard to get ahead when you spend all of your time getting even".
