The forum will take place on June 15–18, 2022.

Such major business events are always an indication of the situation in the world. If last year one of the main topics was economic recovery and business support during and after the pandemic, this time it will be about transforming the models of interaction between countries and business partners.

It is known that the organizers sent invitations to foreign participants from more than 190 countries for the 25th anniversary St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Countries that insisted on limiting relations with Russia and applied sanctions against Moscow have already confirmed their participation in the SPIEF-2022: Norway, the USA, Japan, Germany, Great Britain, Belgium, Finland. Even Ukraine has confirmed its participation.

That only shows: business ties with Russia remain important for the economy of many states. It is valued and supported by the world's largest leaders. Russia is open for visits, business and cultural exchanges with all countries all over the world.

This year the event is at maintenance level, the tracks of the business program will cover the issues of the global and Russian economy, social issues and technology development.

Of course, such a large business platform is a new opportunity for cooperation. Over 800 agreements worth over 3.8 trillion rubles were signed at SPIEF 2021.

The full list of countries whose representatives have confirmed their participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2022 is: Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belize, Belgium, Benin, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Canada, China, Colombia, Central African Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Ghana, Germany, Hong Kong (China), Hungary, Iran, Italy, Israel, India, Jordan, Japan, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Mauritania, Malta, Morocco, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Namibia, Nigeria, Netherlands, Norway, Palestine, Qatar, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Syria, Slovenia, Sierra Leone, Switzerland, Sweden, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, USA, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Uruguay, Venezuela.

Despite the sanctions, representatives of large businesses, even from “unfriendly” countries, will come to SPIEF 2022 to discuss the economy
