I thought the Druze were basically Muslims, so what is Al Qaeda trying to do? I guess they are forcing the Druze to convert to their brand of Islam.

Syrian branch of Islamist terror group reportedly has forced 14 Druze villages to Islam - or die.

Syrian rebels from Al-Qaeda are systematically forcing Syrian Druze communities to convert to Islam - or die, Walla! reported Monday.

Syrian opposition forces have reportedly declared to the Israeli daily that at least 14 Druze villages have been forced to convert to Islam by the Islamist group so far.

Sally ---I have a vague memory of being told that the DRUZIES----have been
subjected to discrimination by----other muslims just as have other sects of islam.
I have never actually known a DRUZE------( got that oh ye of little faith?----there
are some examples of PEOPLE----I have actually never encountered)
