America’s ‘original sin,’ as claimed by the America-hating Left, is the Indian Inquisition…..the murder and theft that produced America, illegitimates the nation, and is reason to hate America.

Except…..it is a slander and a lie.

And, by now, thinking persons know that the Left, the Democrats, lie about everything

1.It should be clear to all that America is battling both international enemies, and a fifth column that is out to destroy this nation from within. This is a pretty good description.

2. But these enemies of ‘truth, justice, and the American way’ (I’ve purloined a phrase that was given up by the original owners) are clever to a fault: they teach, in government school and pop culture, that America was created based on an original sin: genocide of, and theft of land from, ……the Indians.
While embedded in the simplest individuals, and those not predisposed to learning, reading and thinking, not prepared by age and experience, to dispute the lies, it serves as the basis for the hatred of this nation.

3. Proof of and exposure of the lies, today’s precis, is based on an essay in Front Page Mag, called “Genocide, Stolen Land, and Other Lies about America,” Genocide, Stolen Land, and Other Lies about America - Frontpagemag

In which we find: “To begin with, there is no such thing as genocide of Native Americans, and no land was ever stolen. That is a case of the Big Lie if ever there were one.”

That fact is already well known to those who have studied the Democrat Party, and to those who have studied history.
The mode of the Left/Democrats is to take their guilt and claim it is the other side is at fault.

They did this after WWII, after having supported the Nazis and Bolsheviks, and taken on their doctrines and methods…..and claimed the German Socialist Party was really ….right wing.

They white-washed their slavery, segregation history…right up to blocking every anti-lynching bill the Republican presented, and claimed the Republicans, who went to war to end slavery, were the racists.

They claim to support women, yet filibustered the Republican attempts to give women the vote.

Recently…..they tried to claim Republicans are anti-police:

They lie about everything…..and that includes the historicity of the ‘original sin,’ the banditry enacted on the previous inhabitants, those earlier ‘settlers’ from Asia, the Indians.

Keep this in mind when you view the Critical Race Theory indoctrination….and notice that every evil it inserts in the curriculum about America leaves out the operative term: Democrat.

Most of these people are failures in their personal lives and relationships

Their mission in life is to pester happy well adjusted people who want to just be happy and have fun

Their only function is to piss on, and ruin the parade.

If you refer to the Left, the Democrats.....I believe there is a far more devious, evil force behind it.

4. One of the sub-text lies is that the stone-age Indians who greeted the European were Rousseau’s ‘noble savages.’
They were certainly savages.
These were basically the sort one thinks of as cave-dwellers, some three millennia behind the colonists in every way imaginable.

What is rarely provided is the nature of those Indians. They were hardly ‘Noble Savages,’ nature-loving and welcoming to the Europeans.

5. “The Holocene extinction, otherwise referred to as the sixth mass extinction or Anthropocene extinction, is an ongoing extinction event of species during the present Holocene epoch …as a result of human activity.[3][4][5] The included extinctions span numerous families of bacteria, fungi, plants[6][7][8] and animals, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates. With widespread degradation of highly biodiverse habitats …

The Holocene extinction includes the disappearance of large land animals known as megafauna, starting at the end of the last glacial period. … – with few exceptions – megafauna of the mainland was largely unaffected until a few hundred years ago.[16]

The most popular theory is that human overhunting of species added to existing stress conditions as the extinction coincides with human emergence. Although there is debate regarding how much human predation affected their decline, certain population declines have been directly correlated with human activity,…. After early humans migrated to the Americas about 13,000 BP, their hunting and other associated ecological impacts led to the extinction of many megafaunal species there.”

That would be those ‘noble savages,’ who drove herds of buffalo over cliffs, hunted other animals to extinction, and burned forests to flush out their prey.

6. “The Native Americans were the first genocidal warlords on the continent. They stole the continent from the Holocene Megafauna and slaughtered them into extinction.

For centuries Native Americans had the land and did virtually nothing with it; that is, in terms of emancipating themselves from an animistic biological and cyclical lifestyle. The notion of progress lay unknown to them. They existed outside the historical process.”

So the British seizing America from the locals was a good thing?

The British did the same to Ireland and India. Was that good too?

Actually, I would argue that America's original sin was slavery, but you could make an equally good argument for Native American Genocide, which was definitely a thing.

Ah, this is where the Mail Order Bride From Hell cherry-picks some incidents while ignoring things Europeans did.

Of course, you are incorrect. The Mound Building Culture of North America had an extensive network of trade and culture. This was largely wiped out by diseases that the Europeans brought with them, so a century later when they got to the interior of North America, they assumed some lost civilization built them. (This in fact was the whole basis of the Mormon Religion.)

The Inca and Aztecs built extensive cities and architectual works that rivalled what the Europeans were building.

The city of Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztec Empire, had a population of 100,000, had water through aqueducts, had an extensive understanding of math.

By comparison, the population of London in 1520 was 50,000.

Now, yes, the Aztecs did kill thousands in Human Sacrifice... and the Western Christians burned thousands of women to death as witches and heretics. Those damned imaginary sky pixies are so hard to please.

Um... okay... you do realize that the "Megafauna" were wiped out by humans all over the planet, right? Not just in North America. Which is why you won't see a Mammoth or a Wooly Rhinoceros or a Gigantapithicus in any zoo.

So why are liberals not blaming Europeans for the atrocities inflicted on the Indians? And wouldn't Europeans also be the ones who stole the land from the Indians?

Um, because Europeans are the ones who inflicted atrocities and stole their land...

The Mail Order Bride From Hell was trying to claim it was their own fault for being 'Savages". Later on, she'll go to her day job at the Rape Crisis center telling all those women they shouldn't have dressed like sluts.

How could land have been 'stolen' from folks who had no concept of ownership?????

7. For the most part, the Indians were itinerant, nomads who moved from place to place after using up animal life, and burning down forests to make harvesting those animals simpler.

There are numerous examples showing that, before they were taught capitalism, a reason to own real estate, Indians simply traded on the gullibility of the Europeans:

Proof that ownership of the land was not in their ken.
"One popular history of Manhattan notes that the Canarsie Indians "dwelt on Long Island, merely trading on Manhattan, and their trickery [in selling what they didn't possess to the Dutch] made it necessary for the white man to buy part of the island over again from the tribes living near Washington Heights. Still more crafty were the Raritans of [Staten Island], for the records show that Staten Island was sold by these Indians no less than six times."
The Straight Dope How much would the 24 paid for Manhattan be worth in today s money

1626 Peter Minuit purchased the island of Manhattan from the Canarsee Native Americans on May 24, 1626. However, the Canarsee were actually native to Brooklyn, while Manhattan was home instead to the Weckquaesgeek,(Wappnai) who were not pleased by the exchange and later battled the Dutch in Kieft's War.
Peter Minuit (1589-1638)

They had no concept of private ownership of land because they had no intention of remaining in one place.

Were the inhabitants of Ireland and India also three millennia behind the civilizations that did the conquering???

Don't be afraid of education......read a book.

Actually, it's quite the opposite... There really only was Civilization in Britain when the Romans brought it there... then it kind of disappeared for a while and came back.

India has had civilization for thousands of years, but the British conquered them anyway and exploited them for centuries.

The problem with history as a discipline is that winners write the history books... so most history is kind of European-centric, even though Europe only really kind of came into its own after the 16th century.

8.“To begin with, there is no such thing as genocide of Native Americans, and no land was ever stolen. That is a case of the Big Lie if ever there were one.”

“European settlers acquired land that is now America through bargaining, purchase, and conquest. Most of the Indians died of diseases unintentionally transmitted by Europeans to the natives who had no natural inoculation against them. Genocide denotes a willful intention to exterminate an entire population of a people.

Given the technological capabilities of the English and later the Americans, if they had wanted to eliminate the Indians from the continent they could have done so easily. Instead, they subjected many of them to forced inclusion and assimilation. This is not consonant with a policy of extermination. There were isolated cases of European military commanders who did attempt to vanquish hostile Indian tribes by giving them small-pox infected blankets. There is no evidence to indicate that this was systematic policy at all.” Genocide, Stolen Land, and Other Lies about America - Frontpagemag

What if the small-pox blankets is just as much a lie????

Just a side note here, but very few modern civilizations didn't conquer someone else to get their land and resources. A lot of modern Indians are not descended from the Vedic culture, for example. Early Irish history is hard to come by, since we don't have written records until much later, but Irish folklore recounts multiple waves of people arriving and taking over the area.

In short, almost all of us can say that our ancestors took land from someone else. The only significance seems to be the timing of said taking. Timing doesn't seem to matter as much for non-Western countries, however. Plenty of conquest is going on in Asia and Africa, but there's no concerted effort to guilt people over it so far.

The Industrial Revolution is what makes the difference. China had the most advanced civilization long before even the Indians, as far as we can tell from archaeology, at least. However, how you start matters less than how long you advance. China stagnated in technological advancement around the same time as the Europeans industrialized. England was able to conquer India for the same reason.

The progression of history is unfortunately not usually about good and evil so much as it is strategy, economics, and technology. Europeans had the upper hand with technology for a while, but now China and India are catching up.

History overall is not European-centric, although it can seem that way if you're only able to read texts in English. Non-European languages paint a different picture, because their texts typically cater to a different audience.

The concept of private property is definitely something alien to many cultures. This was something the Boers found out in what would become South Africa as well.

Granted, the conflict that results from this difference in understanding is a nuance that does not play well to the "white people are evil" narrative.

Much of history involves two violent cultures colliding, but there's a tendency for Western cultures to engage in self-flagellation over their past far more than you see among many non-Western ones. I rarely hear an Arab or Persian express guilt over Islamic conquests of their regions. Very little attention is paid to how many non-Muslim minorities have been ethnically cleansed or genocided in the last few decades due to regional conflicts.

A more accurate look at humanity assesses that the tendency to vex and oppress is universal. All that differs is how much a culture works toward avoiding future atrocities.
