So there are no charges, but you are fine with punishing him?

Disappointing.
Hitler wasn’t charged with any crimes in Germany.

Yeah, I was fine going after him.

Unraveling a corrupt system sometimes take odd turns.

he is a legal resident, and that the Constitution applies to him.

Permanent legal residents are protected under the laws of the United States and all local jurisdictions. In addition, permanent legal residents are protected and maintain rights as given by the Constitution, including due process of law and equal protection under the law.

No statutes, case law, state laws, etc trump the Constitution. That's my position:
The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1791, protects fundamental freedoms, including freedom of religion, speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the government.

  • Freedom of Speech:
This protects the right to express oneself, even if the expression is unpopular or controversial.

I guess it's you versus the Constitution.

That is granted to citizens of our nation.

There is no such evidence.

I believe the Trump administration will be able to deport him.

I don't agree, as you have seen, on constitutional grounds, but the real purpose is to quell the absurd pro-Hamas Democrat juveniles.
You probably won't find evidence of his wrong doing in the legacy media or Google that's for sure but, we do know that pro-Palestinian protests have been violent and that he supports them. At some point we need to put a stop to this insane garbage.

Palestinians and Hamas attacked killed, and raped women. They seem to be a violent mob.

1.I am speaking as a Trump voter, and a conservative. We are at this point, the power in America. Remember what the Democrats/Liberals did when they were the power......
....let's not become them.

2."Mahmoud Khalil was a graduate student at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at the time of the 2024 Columbia University pro-Palestinian campus occupations.<a href="Detention of Mahmoud Khalil - Wikipedia"><span>[</span>6<span>]</span></a> He is a permanent U.S. resident with a green card.<a href="Detention of Mahmoud Khalil - Wikipedia

3. The detention is the first publicly known deportation effort related to pro-Palestine activism under President Donald Trump, who has promised to punish students and others he says support Hamas or promote antisemitism.<a href="Detention of Mahmoud Khalil - Wikipedia"><span>[</span>6<span>]</span></a><a href="Detention of Mahmoud Khalil - Wikipedia

4. There is no criminal charge against Khalil.

5. This individual, as abhorent as he and his views are, should be seen in the context of the reason we voted against the Democrats: they enforced censorship against those who didn't agree with their possitions. We cannot allow ourselves to use our power to become those Fascists.

This Khalil should not be deported for his views.
He's not being deported for his views, but his actions.

He has helped organized protests designed to harass Jewish students.

If he is allowed to continue, his protests will only lead to more and more violence and eventually to ethnic cleansing.

People like him have no place in a free society, because they only take advantage of freedom to destroy countries from within.

Do you support the Palestinian chant 'from the river to the sea?'
No she does not. She is actually so wonderful and smart, we all can learn by being nice to her.

Last time I looked 'from the river to the sea' was a pretty violent statement. If one supports Palestinian/Hamas protesters, then they support genocide, IMO.

"wasn’t charged with any crimes"

To how many Americans would your rule apply?

Including you?

"permanent legal residents are protected and maintain rights as given by the Constitution,"

English was not my first language, yet I understand it perfectly.

What's your excuse?

Reality is defined by actions, not words.

Do you have any documentation of illegal actions for which he is charged?

Are you an American?

"his actions."

And for which actions has he been charged?

As I understand this issue, this Palestinian or as I say, so called Palestinian still is in the USA and it seems as if some Judge will save him. This may turn out to be just bitching and not waiting on Justice to work out. He has attorneys. He has asked to be returned to New York. At least he has attorneys. We can be sure some Judge will work to save him.

The topic is a guy using threats of violence and he is not a citizen.

Apples to oranges.

We can revoke a Visa. Bye bye

So far it amounts to about the same thing that happened to our J6 protestors who also got locked up and had to deal with going to court and being dealt with. This guy has not been deported.

Where is the evidence that he is a terrorist or that he supports terrorism?
In EVERY ARGUMENT in this topic you side with the Hamas supporters. You try your best to sow doubt that a massacre even occurred. You do your best to promote conspiracies that blame ISRAEL for the massacre you claim didn't even happen. You side with Hamas conspiracies while claiming you don't shill for Hamas.

I’m a citizen and don’t support a declared terrorist organization.

If I was a guest in a foreign country and treated their citizens the way he has, many, probably most, would do far more.

Point?
