We have not had 50% inflation. We fared better than most countries on inflation, but I am not sure if any country suffered 50% inflation, certainly not the United States.

Past few years it has jumped up to $3.00 a half gallon. Do the math. I have seen some things triple in price. Here is a screen shot I saved from last summer:

As you can see, in just the five commodity categories they include at left, one of them is at 47%. These are AVERAGES, but when you look at all categories of things we buy (not included here) and items INDIVIDUALLY, many things have skyrocketed. Things are far worse than the government admits.

I just wonder because YOUR arguments here likewise fall into the EXACT SAME PITFALL. I invite you to exercise your gray matter.
