If the head of the RNC said this, the establishment must be coming around to the fact Trump will take it all!

Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus just gave presidential contender Donald Trump a huge vote of confidence in a Washington Post retrospective published Sunday about the Republican Party's hectic 2015: I'm not one of these people that think that Donald Trump can't win a general election. I actually think there is a huge crossover appeal there to people that are disengaged politically that he speaks to.... Donald Trump taps into the culture. Some people in politics don't get it, don't understand it, are frustrated by it. It doesn't matter. He does.
I'd say Reince might be partially right but also missing a big part of the picture when it comes to Trump's popularity.
When he says, "...think there is a huge crossover appeal there to people that are disengaged politically that he speaks to," he's correct. But he's not saying anything about the folks who
are politically engaged and thoroughly fed up with the messes our professional political class of Democrats, Republicans, and others have gotten our country into while they've played their same old same old D.C. games for decades.
What I believe neither the RNC nor DNC want to talk about at all is the range of appeal Trump is garnering across the entire political spectrum, be it right, left, or center now and, more importantly, in the coming months of debate. Thus far nothing Trump has said has hurt him, quite the contrary in fact, but also nothing any Republican or Democrat candidates, party honchos, etc. have been able to dent the Donald.
It's gonna be a fun 10+ months.
