City life vs rural life are vastly different. They create two completely different mindsets from how you have to live your daily life.
Political views tend to follow these lifestyles.

Truthfully, both sides have good viewpoints and bad ones. (I'm a-political)

And you need both viewpoints to come to reasonable solutions to problems. This is why there is only two senators per state and we are a republic when electing presidents.
The "city people" don't need to run roughshod over the rural people or vice versa. Because what's good to do in the urban areas is worthless in the rural areas.

But we have both types of people in the nation...both sides almost equally numbered. Both sides equal in value. Both sides needed to survive and prosper. And that's the real reason this nation above all the others has prospered over and above all the rest of the world's nations. We HAVE worked together. Behind the rhetoric there's usually a reasonable goal in mind on either side. And somewhere along the way people have forgotten about that.
Now we got conspiracy theorists selling lies based on rhetoric...and profiting from it. As if that's really going to help anyone. It's only going to divide us further...and currently our nation's enemies are feeding those outlets with resources. Because we have "Freedom of the press" it's not too expensive for them to do so...or even illegal.

Sure our leaders are soulless puppets, but we already knew that a long time ago....they never were paragons of idealism and virtue. Not a one of them have had an agenda of their own. But that doesn't mean that we have to continue to keep electing panderers who just tell us what we want to hear.

If we want to continue to have a lifestyle that exceeds every nation in existence then we had better get it together and soon. Because history shows that there's only one direction to go if we don't.

I think the democrats allow partisan venom in order to generate support for themselves. Just allow a figure like Trump to get chewed up and spit out to generate support by hating him 24/7 in the news for 4 long years.

Then at the end of a sleepy joe biden term, may need to do it again to get people up and supporting them again.

When Hillary was running, the enthusiasm was zero percent for the democrat party. It was embarrassing enough seeing Biden campaign with no one showing up in support.

No doubt every uses it too gin up the base. Some more than others. Making a president a one term president can’t be the only goal of either party.

That's an incredibly difficult reality for most of these people to grasp. They live in a binary world where everyone is either a zero or a one and if you disagree with the zero you must be one of the ones. If you disagree with a one, you must be one of the zeroes. They can't comprehend that there are some of us out there who fall somewhere in between. Because they are not capable of independent, critical thought, they assume nobody else is either.
