Hey man. Are you still playing?
Yeah... off and on. I think I'm nearing the end of the main story. Hosea bit it, my TB is advancing, Dutch and Micah are full blown terrorists. Some nun thinks I'm a good man. She's wrong.

That Hosea thing was tough. He was more like a father to Arthur than Dutch was. Marston see's right through Dutch's bluster. I think that's one reason he left the gang before.
And Micah, I've killed him so many times...... But he just keeps popping back up.

From the sound of it, you're either at Shady Belle or Beaver Hollow.

Beaver Hollow. Dutch and Micah are planning world domination, and I'm just doing side quests while the world burns. Kinda like real life?

TB finally got me. The epilogue is a pleasant surprise. I'd heard there was one, but I figured it was just an extended cut scene. But it's much more boring than that!

Once you hear Willie singing, it'll get back to normal. You're back to free roaming. You can now go down into NA. There's lots to do down there.

For me, it was kind of tough playing as Marston. I'd grown very fond of Arthur, his voice and his character. But after a couple of playthroughs, I realized that it was his last wish for John to "be a god damn man." To run and don't look back. And that everything John was doing, was only because of Arthur. So now, I enjoy playing as John.

I love the way they put you in the place of someone trying to go straight, and the utter, crushing boredom of it all. Milking cows, cleaning up manure, building fences -- good times. Suspect it won't last long ...

BTW, did you ever start any crap with the fine folks of Van Horn?

Bro, this........ 9 PT, and still grabs me by the heart.

Just finished up the second epilogue. The credits rolled. I assume it's over. But ....

Near the end of the credits (which took over thirty minutes!) they intersperse little black and white cut scenes. And the last one is a couple of Pinkertons with binoculars eyeballing Marston's ranch. :(

And then, it looks like you can play on from there. Not sure what to expect. I know RDR2 was supposed to be a prequel to RDR1, but I don't remember the plot of the first one well.

Anyway - truly amazing game and story. Thanks for prodding me!
