Ha, this squirrel (statue). All it takes to get it. Only to have the wife hide it because she doesn't like it.

I still haven't figure out how to catch or break horses. **** it up every time.

But you always keep the left analog pulled back towards yourself while it's bucking. As the horse starts turning left or right, simply move the stick in the same direction as the horses butt.

But keep the stick pulled back. And slightly left or right.

I can't even get them lassoed in the first place.

There's no need to lasso them. Just get approach them on foot until you can "call them." Keep focusing on them (L2) Then approach slowly. When your controller starts to vibrating, spam the "calm" button. Until it stops vibrating. Repeat this until you're close enough to pet it. Then triangle (on PS5) to mount it. Then the ride is on.

Lasso is the easiest way though, once you figure it out. But pulling on that rope until you get close enough to mount it, takes up a lot of stamina. You'll need plenty of stamina on some horses.

I just completed 100% the other night. Then remembered something I forgot. Then remembered something else...... Even after 100% completion, with the cut scene, I had to make a list of things I'd forgotten. Like meeting with Rains Falls in Annesberg, Or the sun worshippers in New Austin.
There's probably 20 things left to do.

This game has me wondering just how good GTA 6 will be.

IDK. The 3 RDR2 writers aren't with Rockstar anymore. And I heard Rockstar went way woke. If I get it, it won't be right away. I wanna see what people say about it for a couple months.

Another thing about GTA, it's a lot of "modern day crime." That's an issue for me, because of all the crime we have now.
I mean I get it's just a video game. And nothing in a game is going to make me want to commit a crime.

RDR2 had its share of "woke". But the writing is just so good they pull it off. They might be expressing modern moral perspectives - art always does - but the characters never sound out of time and place. Most TV fare doesn't achieve that.

I caught some of it. Charles Chatney', dressing a woman. But the writers made sure everyone knew he was straight as a string.
And the mustache on Margaret...... Obviously making fun of trans people.

But IMO, they did push Sadie's character too far. She was extremely masculine.

The inability to massacre the indigenous peoples was a major disappointment for me.
