Yes, I don't think anyone expected this to go on so long and now it looks like there is no hope of it ever ending. It's very easy for people to want to help and then it goes on a bit long and they do not want to do it anymore. The Ukranians will not be made homeless. The British people will demand they are treated with respect and provided with somewhere to live as would have happened with anyone else. This was just cheaper for the Government.
