Yep. George H.W. Bush presided over the end of the Cold War, removed Manuel Noriega from power in Panama, launched Desert Shield and Desert Storm which successfully restored peace and security to the Persian Gulf at the time, was willing to raise taxes despite the political price to help eventually balance the budget, had the last calendar year, 1992, when all 4 quarters of real GDP growth were above 4%.

George W. Bush successfully defending the United States from terrorism after 9/11, removed the Taliban from power in Afghanistan and replaced it with a better government, removed Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq and replaced his regime with a more stable government, no longer a threat to its neighbors, and more responsive to the rights and needs of its people, the Presidency of George W. Bush had one of the lowest average unemployment rates of any President in history.

The notion that George W Bush would be considered a good President, by any measure, is just breathtaking.

The mess he left behind was historic.

The removal of the Taliban regime and the Saddam Hussein regime were historic victories in defending the United States and the world. The economic recession of 2008-2009 was primarily the fault of deregulatory practices that occurred before Bush was in office. Economically, George W. Bush's time in office had one of the lowest average unemployment rates in history.

1. Theodore Roosevelt (created our National Parks, National Forests and National Wildlife Refuges, pro-2nd Amendment, strong on military and defense, nationalist, Panama Canal).
2. Harry S. Truman (nationalist, saved thousands of US military personnel by authorizing the use of the A Bomb).
3. John F. Kennedy (strong on defense and military, nationalist, a moderate democrat).
4. Donald J. Trump (not presidential in manner and linguistically challenged, but doing good, so far and a nationalist).

You don't speak for anyone who fought in the Korean War. Most Americans today believe that war was important and justified. You only have to look at the differences between South Korea today and Vietnam today to know that Truman was right.
