Rand Paul Unleashes LIVE On Senate Floor – Names Whistleblower Eric Ciaramella 5 Times

Other than bring retribution to this whistleblower and intimidate future whistleblowers

What is Rand Paul trying to do?

A very wrong thing to do.
Why?

Because it was unnecessary, potentially illegal, put's his life and his family in jeopardy. Everything in the report was independently verified. The only reason to do this is to ruin a man's life for doing the right thing and reporting on something even his superiors agreed was credible.

You guys are just nuts.

Think of precedents - if we can't protect whistle blowers reporting on unethical conduct from our government - who will take the risk of reporting?

What is so weird is it's typically the RIGHT that takes the position of checks and balance on the government. Things have certainly changed.
Whistle blowers that are politically aligned with a party is of suspicious nature. And there were attacks on people, people in public places, and their property and going in their property during the last couple years of Obama's Presidency and the first couple years of Trump's. By Antifa and BLM or people who supported them. More and more weapons are being purchased. If someone is in a restaurant and a group comes in threatening them, do they have the right to pull out a handgun and start shooting?

There is no indication that this whistle blower is partisan in his report. As has been repeatedly pointed out - the report was found CREDIBLE by multiple investigators. Further - testimony and records supported each of the points. So whether or not the whistle blower had ulterior motives (which frankly seems to be assigned to ANY one who dares raise objection to what Trump does) is irrelevant - the facts stand and support the report independent of who wrote it. That should and did spark an investigation.

What's happening now is nothing short of a vendetta against him, and it's disturbing.

So suddenly, now, death threats and violence against government whistle blowers is acceptable? There is a reason we have laws and rules in place protecting them and that reason has nothing to do with this one person, but all the persons going on from here.

You want to be able to hold our government accountable? Well left and right, from media to whistle blowers, you are chopping down the trees.

Eric put his own ass in peril, nobody else did it to him nor for him.
Snowflakes always demand shielding from the repercussions of their illicit acts.

So....let get this straight.

Whistle blowers, who credibly report on Trump, legally, are fair targets for retribution?

That's a special kind of crazy right there.
You obviously didn't watch the video.

Why do you insist on posting in ignorance?

Other than trying to get the guy killed, what possible purpose does it serve?

For crying out loud, you people were bitching for five years because McConnell stated he wanted to see DumBama as a one-term President. Here you have a guy trying to undermine the Trump presidency, and no problem at all. Why? Because he's a Republican.

I could only imagine if we did anything like this to Obama. There would have been riots in the street.

Undermining?

He reported on potentially illegal acts. Every item was independently confirmed. He did so through the right channels, and his report was deemed credible by his superiors.

But wait - it's Trump. Any whistle blower complaints about Trump is automatically "illicit".

You are essentially saying there can be no checks and balances on this presidents behavior from any quarter: from Congress, from the media, from civil servants. Checks and balances are now "coups".

Moles who lie in order to undermine the President do in fact put their own self in rightful danger.
Then demanding anonymity worsens the situation

He had zero first hand knowledge.

Covering The Crimes of Espionage and Treason, is illegitimate, and The Trump Administration should challenge The Whistleblower Law as malformed and never intended to be a refuge for criminals and then they should try these people on Espionage and Treason.

Everyone that watches network news other than CNN and MSNBC knows the treasonous pricks name already....

He reported Rumors, and 2nd hand information which was incorrect which means he filed a fraudulent report, which is a felony.

If Trump actually did something wrong, I would agree with some of what you said. But this impeachment is as phony as a three dollar bill. There were no crimes, and no impeachable offenses. So what does that tell us? He was part of the cabal. He was not working for the benefit of our country, he was working to undermine the President of the United States because of his loyalty to the Democrat party.

Secondly, he's not a whistleblower at all. A whistleblower has to have first hand information, not second hand. But even if he was, there is no guarantee of anonymity for a whistleblower.

Who the whistleblower is was made known by both Schiff and Roberts. Both freaked out when people brought up the meeting with Obama.

He's not a whistleblower. He was a rumor spreader.
