I can't vote for folks who make idiotic statements like that. Christie is walking his back on parental rights concerning vaccination. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Rand Paul Vaccines can lead to mental disorders - Washington Times

REALLY?

You are Doctor and you make stupid statements like this. You want to be President and you make statements that cannot be supported by science, or anything else? DUDE! You are are clueless as your father.
He's taking Michelle Bachmann's word for it ...

President Obama is in favor of vaccinating kids so of course, the Republicans are against it.
It's looking more and more that that is true on all their "policies" or lack there-of. They are reactive....and can't seem to lead on anything.

The candidates, right out of the starting gate, won't discuss anything but partisan issues....Another great election season....

"...the state doesn’t own your children; parents own the children and it is an issue of freedom.”

IMHO: No one OWNS anybody else. This notion of children as chattel is the most disturbing part of his statement.

In the future, there will be no doctors.

All medical problems will be treated by lawyers and chiropractors.

well well,

SNIP:

Highest Rates Of Non-Vaccinated U.S. Schoolchildren: California’s Ultra-Liberal Marin County…

Hmmm, so Obama was pandering to his liberal base when he made his anti-vaccination remarks in 2008? Shocker.

Via BuzzFeed:

…Observers have rolled their eyes with disgust and familiarity: These politicians are seeking the Republican nomination for president, and the primary process does often involve pandering to fringe elements of one’s own party.

But who are these people pandering to? What part, exactly, of the Republican coalition so opposes mandatory requirements that, in the context of a measles outbreak, vaccination is a compromise issue?

Because here’s the truth: This is largely a liberal fringe issue.

The people not vaccinating their kids against the diseases once declared defeated don’t live in South Carolina or Indiana or a particularly conservative part of Ohio or Florida. That isn’t where people are contracting the whooping cough, like it’s goddamn Little Women.

No, the strongholds are in places like Newport Beach, Santa Monica, and Marin County, California. The affluent, the educated, the enlightened, the ones who believe in purity and science — people in liberal enclaves are the ones rejecting one of the 20th century’s major scientific achievements.

all of it here:
Highest Rates Of Non-Vaccinated U.S. Schoolchildren California 8217 s Ultra-Liberal Marin County 8230 Weasel Zippers

Only if we manage to fuck it up to the point we actually enact a single payer system. Until then...no
