Rand Paul says the quiet part out loud regarding elections

Yeah, the govt picking the winners and losers. Which the poor are always the losers. So they want to give more power to the govt with their authoritarian politics.
Fucking dumbasses
Reminds me of healthcare.
The govt getting involved in healthcare is why prices have been shooting up since the 30s.
So, in return, the dumbfuck Americans want to give the govt MORE POWER over our healthcare. The govt filled with corrupt know nothings.
Fucking dumbasses

Although Trump didn’t publish a 2020 Republican platform George Lucas did:

Your post got me thinking Harley what about only people who pay taxes/are retired/disabled voters. I think I’d back that restriction. “Only land owners” would leave out all renters, which satisfies a wide range of needs for a bucu load of people. Some people chose to rent instead of own for their own reasons. Tenants/renters shouldn’t be discriminated against. Now, with tent city residents, do they have the right to vote? Yes, if they pay taxes, or are physically disabled (although many pay taxes who can and do work) or show ID. Ah, the horror! Somebody calling for ID’s to show proof a voter is who they claim to be!
Choices have consequences....You come to the table without a buy-in, you shouldn't get to play the game.

The original ideals of communism, everyone doing equal work and getting equal shares (even if those ideals have never actually been adhered to) apeal to people who spend their life doind 100 times more work than their boss while he makes 1000 times more money and takes credit for their work.

I suppose. If you constrain yourself to the notion that only physical labor qualifies as "work". But that leaves out quite a lot.

Let's see if any right wing fraudsters can spot the obvious flaw in his argument, I’ll highlight for the particularly stubborn hold outs.

“Seeding an area heavy with potential Democratic votes with as many absentee ballots as possible, targeting and convincing potential voters to complete them in a legally valid way, and then harvesting and counting the results.”

Rand Paul Ridiculed After Accusing Dems of ‘Stealing’ Elections by Persuading People to Vote For Them
What he refers to is slovenly deadbeat democrats who will not go out of their way to vote but will sign anything for a carton of cigarettes

Mkay. Do you have a salient point?
Yes, just like Leona Roberts Helmsley (July 4, 1920 – August 20, 2007) was an American businesswoman. Her flamboyant personality and reputation for tyrannical behavior earned her the nickname Queen of Mean.[11] After allegations of non-payment were made by contractors hired to improve Helmsley's Connecticut home, she was investigated and convicted of federal income tax evasion and other crimes in 1989.

"We don't pay taxes; only the little people pay taxes".

That sounds more like a "no". But do go on.

The government must even the playing field as much as possible when the playing field is tilted in favor of the rich and powerful. That clearly is the case right now. The Fed's most recent report shows that the top 1% of wealthy Americans own more of the nation's wealth than the middle 60% which is unpredcedented. The government had to step in to break up the trusts in the early part of the 1900s. It is the rich and powerful who are the authoritarians in this country.

LOL.....I don't think things are going to go quite the way the OP hoped. ;)

Rand put it in a odd way but the manipulative games the dems played in 2020 can't be denied.....But let's set that all aside for a while (never forget) and get busy running it up the dem's ass with no lube next November. Our opportunities abound and not just on the federal level.

In 2022 we have a better than even chance to elect gop governors in states where there are currently dems in place. Then we can roll-back the measures the dems put in place (either by law or some dem governor's edict like Strechin' Gretchen's in MI) that allowed ballot harvesting and the other shady practices the dems used to play their little fuck-fuck games like they did in 2020.

There are at least 7 of the 16 states were the dems currently hold the state house that are very much in play in 2022....PA being the biggest prize.

Indeed, 2022 might be the perfect storm to rid ourselves of a bunch of dems, both nationally and on the state level, and neuter them for years.

Denying the dems the state apparatus to play their games is just as important as denying them on the federal level....Maybe more so long term.

Ok lets look at Apple as an example. Steve jobs did literally nothing to design or create any apple product.

His partner Steve Wozniack had the Apple one computer basically done before they ever even met. Jobs helpped market it, and put up startup funds forproduction.

If you get a loan to start a business is the lender entitled to the vast majority of that business' stocks and profits? Wozniack even said Jobs literaaly did nothing but tell other people to come up with ideas so he could pass those ideas off as his own to the stockholders and general public.

Prices of healthcare have been skyrocketing for decades

Those countries with Government healthcare are seeing affordable coverage.
Blame the insurers for rising rates, they add nothing to our healthcare

Yes they do. The useless leeches are the rich and powerful who are stealing from everyone else.
They are leeches too. But they get away with it because it is law. Laws created by morons, that were voted in by morons.

That sounds more like a "no". But do go on.
Only to a Trumptard.
Repulitards have been playing the same game since Reagan.
Worried about everyone's taxes.........................but their own.

Gotta have 'skin' in the game, but theirs.

"The only years that anybody's ever seen were a couple of years when he had to turn them over to state authorities when he was trying to get a casino license, and they showed he didn't pay any federal income tax," Clinton said.
Trump quickly retorted: "That makes me smart."

Later, when Clinton told Trump was that "maybe ... you haven't paid any federal income tax for a lot of years," the real estate mogul, who claims to be worth up to $10 billion, said that he was a better steward for his money than the government.

A voter test could take care of that to prove they know something about the candidates’ platform. Can you imagine? People would have to learn about the candidates they support on paper! IMHO, it’s more important to target the other end to make these candidates show their worth via testing. That’s the way forward, yet the congressional fossils on the hill will never allow that to occur nor will the newcomers. They don’t want to take a test to show they have any knowledge.

There is no requirement in the Constitution that they know a candidate's platform. Most candidates don't have a platform.
