Why did 193 House Republicans vote against a standalone bill to cap the cost of insulin at $35/month?

Did you read the bill? Did you read the debate? Or are you just believing in the politics around it?

The cost alone is startling. It is three times what all of Europe has contributed to date and roughly the size of Ukraine’s entire national budget

Fighting an all out war against a foreign invasion is a really expensive proposition so no, the amount of money isn't at all surprising.

The aid package has passed, despite Sen Paul's attempt to intervene on behalf of Russia.

Hence, we see Russofascist tears here.
He treated this bill the same as every other supplemental or military foreign aid bill as he always does on behalf of his constituents and the American People.

He did nothing to interfere with it's passage, just slowed it down so instead of being fast tracked it had to go through regular order and be debated.

For a non-NATO nation, they get a shitload of money and U.S. support.

Why the fuck join NATO when they can shakedown U.S. taxpayers to this extent??
Yippee Kai-Ohhhhh!!! :ack-1::ack-1::ack-1:

They aren't shaking anybody down and if they'd already been allowed to join NATO we wouldn't be having this discussion because Putin would never have invaded.

the enormous sums "for Ukraine" and the US war machine are, in fact, primarily enriching weapons manufacturers while neglecting needs at home.

This was once standard left-wing anti-war rationale. It's why progressive media now largely ignores these issues.

People can have whatever views on the US role in the proxy war in Ukarine. What can't be denied is the realignment.

The only NO votes for Biden's $40b war package and his new FBI/DHS War on Terror came from a few dozen Republicans. All Dems, and most GOP, are with the neocons.

This has been true of the US War Budget for decades. The thing is constant war abroad leads to tyranny at home. We are witnessing this ancient truism occur before our every eyes.

Lol. You’re a dupe of the establishment, if you believe that tripe.

Not one D voted against this absurd bill that only escalates the war and results in more dead Ukrainians. Only 22 Rs voted against it. Bipartisanship…how grand!

When Henry Kissinger, a long time war hawk, is to the left of the entire D Party and MSM on this war, you know we live in strange times.

Fighting an all out war against a foreign invasion is a really expensive proposition so no, the amount of money isn't at all surprising.

The war was deliberately started by the US telling the Ukraine to start it by illegally trying to join NATO, stealing oil, murdering ethnic Russians, etc.

Since the Ukraine can not possibly win, and Russia is in the rights, Kyiv should surrender as quickly as possible.

Anyone in the US responsible for sending weapons to the Ukraine, should be prosecuted for their crimes.

Once in the while I forget just how fucked in the head you are, but then I get to see yet another one of your batshit crazy posts.

Ukraine DID NOT attack Russia, it was IN FACT Russia that invaded Ukraine with no direct provocation and under false pretenses.

US/NATO told Ukraine that they DON'T YET QUALIFY for NATO, starting with the fact that they can't establish territorial integrity due to successionists control of DNR and LNR. Though no doubt Russian attack on Ukraine has accelerated NATO's acceptance of Ukraine.

20% of Kiev's population are ethnic Russians. Nobody was killing them.

Take your bullshit somewhere else Vasya.

The agreement was that Ukraine would not even ask to join NATO.
