Rams go from laughingstock to contenders in one year.

The Rams have far and away surpassed my greatest expectations. I think the team is for real. I just wish that if they are going to go "retro" as it pertains to the uniforms that they do it all the way. The gold and white uniforms with the blue and white helmet doesn't match at all........

Let's see what they do against the Vikings, Saints and Eagles in the next 4 weeks

If they come out of that with wins over 2 out of 3 then they are for real. if they go 0-3 then they are a joke

The Eagles really haven't impressed me that much but the Saints have been on a big time roll. The next few weeks will be interesting for sure. The Cowboys are done, sadly..........an Eagle win against Dallas will not be impressive to me. They looked horrific today. Chaz Green was a joke and without Sean Lee, they can't stop even a mediocre running game.

Maybe the cowboys get up for the eagles next week because of hearing all week they have no shot to win and the eagles are too good

Without a decent left tackle, the Cowboys have no shot. Tyrone Smith at 50 percent is better than what they put out there today. Garrett sucks as a head coach.........bottom line.

I been watching the NFL since 1987 and seen many of times a team who was expected to win end up losing. No game in the NFL is a lock which is something I learned 30 years ago.

I have been watching the NFL since 1970......dyed in the wool Cowboys fan and went to see them beat the Bills in Pasadena in Super Bowl 27. I know a little something about the game as well.......

Ok well you should know about games like next week. A team who hasn't loss since week 2 coming into a place to play a team who just lost last week due to being short-handed. The winning team will take that other lightly and that's when the home team will put up a fight and shock everyone.

Seen this happen in the NFL so many times and as a kid it would confused the hell out of me lol

thats because dude, many of these games are fixed.the reason you have so many games where everybody thought a great team would blow out a really bad team but they go and lose, that is because major money was involved. no different than boxing when a boxer is paid to take a dive, happens in the NFL all the time especially playoffs and superbowls.

just wondering,I assume you agree with me on this post here below? the similarities are uncanny dont you think?

okay now that things are where they NEED to be now on this thread,do you agree with my question i posed that Mcvey reminds me of a young John Gruden when he got his first head coaching job with the Raiders? the smiliarities are uncanny I think you got to agree? Both were former offensive coordinater whizs, both young, both have an eye for talent,Gruden being the genius he was insisting to Al Davis he needed to sign Rich Gannon back then, but the most important trait that Gruden had that mcvey has as well is that the he motivates the players and inspires them to go out and play hard and same as gruden, has changed the culture there. you dont disagree with any of this I assume? i dont see how anyone could personally.hee hee.

It feels like that sometime. Like who would not put all their money on the eagles next week to win? But the way the NFL works the cowboys may come out with something to prove and win.

Also keep in mind the eagles are DUE for a loss.

Without the running of Elliott? Doubt the Cowpies can pull off the upset. They may have a chance at the end of the season when they play the Iggles again and have Elliott back. May have a chance to play spoiler if they aren’t in the playoff hunt.

I seen teams who were short-handed come together and shock the world by beating a good team.

Cowboys went into play the undefeated 11-0 redskins without Troy Aikman and won the game in 1991

Eagles lose Mcnabb and the team still won 5 in a row with AJ Feeley in 2002

Teams come together when no one is giving them a shot to win. I seen it happen so many times

All week the cowboys will hear this

1. Their season is over
2. They have no shot to beat the eagles
3. They can't win without zeke

So expect them to come out with a chip on their shoulder

the cowturds and Rams rivalry got renewed for sure in a classic shootout just like in the old days. It still felt like they were playing the stank louis rams though since asshole kroneke wont go back to the classic yellow and blue colors. i cant get excited about them even with their great play because they are the LA Rams in NAME ONLY.

But you said the NFL pays to throw games, so it isn’t real!

Good for you!

As if the Rams weren’t becoming a big enough problem for the NFL, over the past few weeks they’ve added an important and scary weapon.

The Rams, it seems, can score from anywhere on the field

Bonsignore: Rams put the NFL on notice with one play – Orange County Register

do we dare say superbowl? nobody can deny they have as much an excellent chance as anybody.

Its hard to say,its all on who the NFL wants to be there.they always want the cheaters there most the time and to win it all so they always fix it so that happens most the time.would not be surprised in the least if it was the Rams and cheats in in this year with the cheats fixed to win again. I LOVED it when that STANK LOUIS team lost to them,That would suck though to know they had it fixed for the LOS ANGELES Rams to lose though.

go with your instincts that tell you this feeling of yourse.they are correct.ever since i got awake to how these games are fixed,i seldom ever bother watching them anymore because i already know what is going to happen.the Rams are the only team i will even CONSIDER watching since i have waited too damn long for them to come back to LA and so far i have only watched the opener and the niners game.

ever since i woke up to how these games are rigged after it was so obvious pete the cheat took a payoff to throw the superbowl,i have not watched a superbowl since. Not live anyways,i will go back maybe a couple weeks later and watch it just for curiosity how they threw the game.

i did not watch the donkeys/panthers game cause i KNEW the NFL wanted the donkeys to win and wanted manning to retire in the sunset with a superbowl ring. and with the cheatriots,it was so obvious the players on the falcons quit and LET them come back on purpose.

i told a couple of my buddies they they could come back and win at halftime, that it was all fixed. it was so obvious the game was scripted, the falcons were agressive as hell in the first half and attacked them like they needed to.the second half? just the opposite, they got conservative like crazy and stopped attacking, you dont do that if you are serious about winning a superbowl.

you dont throw the ball on third and one for god sakes, not against a team that was bad at stopping the run.

Marshawn Lynch got smart, the players of the seahawks they could not believe the call that he did not call for him to run it.Lynch knew how he took a payoff and cost him the chance to score the winning touchdown andlbeing smart like he was,got out of seattle and went to oakland knowing carrol threw the game:thup:

well do.

as i said earlier the Rams are the only team i will even consider to watch anymore these days since the NFL is so damn corrupt now and the rare times I do watch the Rams are at home only to look at the sights of LA.:biggrin:other than the niners of course to see the classic california rivalry,i WONT watch them on the road.

at first I was skeptical of the Rams front office trading the farm for Goff.Thought it was too risky. However they obviously know what they are doing drafting Gurley who at times reminds you Eric Dickerson since like he was,he is also explosive but I now see WHY they traded the farm to get the number one pick to get him in this informative article.they obviously knew what they were doing Goff and Mcvey are the main reason for the transformation in one year.

“He stays even keeled all the time. Now we’re really seeing it show up in games. Again, he doesn’t flinch. That’s what you want. That demeanor and disposition rubs off on his teammates. When you’re calling plays in the huddle and you’ve got that calm, quiet confidence no matter what’s going on, that’s a special quality. He builds on his success, and when bad things happen, he learns from it. So, he’s just going to continue to grow.” - Rams head coach Sean McVay on Jared Goff
Here's how the Los Angeles Rams rebuilt Jared Goff almost overnight

Goff same as Russel Wilson, appears to be something special.

Dont know about the Eagles game but the Rams are starting to get such national attention now being the scoring machine like it was in LA back in the 80's when they had QB Jim Everett,Eric Dickerson,Flipper Anderson, two future hall of fame lineman Jackie Slater and Toby Harrah that for the Saints game in LA anyways, the majority of networks are going to carry that game.

Rams vs. Saints Game to be Aired on CBS at 1:25 PT

I have to believe the Eagles game will get a lot of national attention as well.
