Rams go from laughingstock to contenders in one year.

THAT being said, dont know what good this post will do since the whole OP topic has been ignored, but even a former Rams player is saying the same thing i said earlier that this team reminds them of the greatest show on turf.

They were such a prolific offense, fans came out to watch them during pregame warmups. Opposing defensive players frantically tried different pairs of cleats to gauge whether one could help neutralize the threat better than another.

Those are a few things Torry Holt remembers from his years as a star receiver for the St. Louis Rams’ record-setting “Greatest Show on Turf” offense.

Rams' scoring prowess reminds former great Torry Holt of the 'Greatest Show on Turf'

those for me were the worst nightmare years having to endure that evil ***** slut whore host a trophy and then worse insult the fans in LA saying-I now know I did the right thing.that was major slap in the face to them/ she is now thank god burning in hell next to al davis. Ram fans in LA matter of fact go to her grave out there all the time and piss on it.

I plan to join that line someday myself and also piss on it.
so you're looking for a narrative, and it's one that any of us are willing to give you I supposed. The idea that all of the sudden they can't be stopped after not being able to win, is indeed strange. And it can't be explained. No one could answer that. opinions were given in this thread, you are driving your narrative rather than accepting the posts of the board. Oh well. I gave you examples of how games can turn and why. is that happening for the RAMs? I have no idea, I'm not watching their games. i watch my team the Bears and I know that narrative is to make them losers, by taking points off the board illegitimately on wrong calls. Calling penalties against and not against. I do watch that gross misconduct. Now, as I stated, I've seen videos of other such misconduct by the officials all over the league. So take your wins. good for your team. They aren't mine.

actually it CAN be explained. Goff looks to be something special. there was a very good reason the front office traded the farm to get the number one pick, they were sold on Goff, they obviously saw things in him that none of us were aware of that he was something special at such a young age.Another Phillip Rivers who could come out of nowhere and instantly turn the fortunes of a team around or another Russel Wilson in the making except for the scrambling ability.

Plus as i just said, getting rid of the a moron coach who was the worst coach in the NFL and having an offensive whiz in mcvey has more than anything proved to be big dividends for Goff and the team more importantly.

as i asked before, mcvey reminds me an awful lot of john gruden asking people here dont you agree? look at the simiarlies,Gruden came in and in his first year instantly turned the Raiders fortunes around with a non losing season for the first time in several years going 8-8.

The NEXT season he did the most brilliant thing in the world seeing that Rich Gannon was available as a starter,he instantly went out and snatched him seeing what none of the others teams recognized that Gannon was something special IF a coach allowed him to ba a starter. He got a raw deal in minnesota being benched when he was playing well and never got another fair shake until Gruden saved his career. Mcvey like Gruden appears to be an offensive whiz. Mcvey like Gruden has also made a difference with the players having a coach that motivates them and they respond to.

Plus as i said, they FINALLY got a legitimate number one threat to throw to which opens up the running game for Gurley so defenses cannot stack the line of scrimmage so while it is shocking to me they instantly turned it around in one year, thinking they were a year away before having their first winning season in almost 15 years,i guess it is not shocking really when you think about those facts plus the fact Goff had an entire off season to get familiar with his teammates and adjusted to the speed of the game at the NFL level.

btw,you really need to reread that post of yours because that is not true, there were NO OPINIONS given by you or anyone else about the topic of the thread, how it is amazing how they turned things around instantly in one year.nothing, zilch was said about the OP by anyone.

Now i am glad to see that has FINALLY changed and it is on topic FINALLY.
good.

okay now that things are where they NEED to be now on this thread,do you agree with my question i posed that Mcvey reminds me of a young John Gruden when he got his first head coaching job with the Raiders? the smiliarities are uncanny I think you got to agree? Both were former offensive coordinater whizs, both young, both have an eye for talent,Gruden being the genius he was insisting to Al Davis he needed to sign Rich Gannon back then, but the most important trait that Gruden had that mcvey has as well is that the he motivates the players and inspires them to go out and play hard and same as gruden, has changed the culture there. you dont disagree with any of this I assume? i dont see how anyone could personally.hee hee.

It's all a set up, just like you have been saying. We're you lying then or lying now?

How can the NFL set up winners and losers and then you totally ignore your own words when it comes to the Rams? You claim you don't follow the NFL or the Rams but then know so much about what is going on? I think you are flat out lying and when your team loses you claim scandal and when your team wins, you claim the NFL is honest. Talk about a lying piece of scum.

Answer the question does the NFL set up games or not? Your ignoring the question seems to show what a fraud and hypocrite you are.

like clockwork,i can always count on pooper to shit in my thread and derail the thread topic.. I have no doubt it was his first post coming on here trolling that got it all started.

obviously that was how this thread got derailed off topic with everybody replying to pooper.I should have KNOWN it was him that would get the topic derailed.

hey pooper, you might want to try and explain your warped logic to everyone here how is it possible that your lover wrongwinger, that you have always had your head up the ass of,how its possible for him to somehow own me when you two cant even agree what city the rams play in,:haha::lmao:when he cant face pesky facts the rams are not in st louis anymore and always crys about that all these years later since he would kill himself first before ever admitting he was wrong and you worship this guy,the only person in the world who cant face facts what city the rams play in.comedy gold from you as always pooper.:lmao::haha:

Under first-year head coach Sean McVay, their offense, last in the NFL in yards each of the last two years, ranks second in offensive points per game. Under celebrated coordinator Wade Phillips, their defense has given up the eighth-fewest yards since Week 5 and has produced 15 turnovers throughout the year, three shy of the NFL lead. Goff looks like a legitimate franchise quarterback, Gurley has re-established himself as an elite multi-threat running back, and Aaron Donald has once again shown that he might be the game's best defensive player.

not my words which obviously hurts pooper and his lover wrongwingers feelings.:haha:

We are a legit Super Bowl contender... why can't we look like one?

could not say it better myself,WHY is Kroneke being an asshole depriving the diehard fans out there of their history not bringing back the yellow and blues?

I guarantee you, that idiot kroneke is hurting himself not bringing the colors back, when people here the name LOS ANGELES Rams, they think of these colors, its the same thing as it was when they were in st louis,if they dont play in LA,they arent the rams, same thing here,if they dont play in those uniform colors, the coolest uniforms in the country and what me become a Rams fan in the first place other than that they were in LA,then they are not the Rams either.

NFL fans arlready feel as it is that they dont matter with the niners first being morons leaving SF which is WHY they have half empty stadiums at their games now,now the chargers going through the same thing for the same reason. you ask around town in LA,you will find the fans are pissed as hell at kroneke for his decision to wait till he opens the new stadium to bring these colors back, and who can blame them? there is no other more appropriate stadium for the classic blue and yellows than in the LA coliseum. :mad:This ******* prick kronke same as all NFL owners is proving in spades,he does not give a shit about what the fans want.

**** the NFL and **** stan kroneke.:up_yours:

I see a lot of similarity between McVey and Gruden, particularly in their innate ability to know how to push their players buttons.

the fans in LA agree with us that the Rams need to bring back the yellow and blue colors.you go around LA and ask long time followers that remember their colors as we do and they all say the same thing, they want them back, they are obviously pissed at A hole kroeneke for ignoring them and they are are showing it at the gates.i would do the same thing. i just rather they have STAYED in stank louis rather than come back and play in those ugly white rags. you wont find one fan out there in LA that likes the colors.

if they cant beat the Eagles in a few weeks then they will still be the YAMS to me

if they cant beat the Eagles in a few weeks then they will still be the YAMS to me

as someone mentioned earlier, that is one of five tough games they have left on their schedule so will be interesting. I have stayed true to my word that I would only watch a couple of Ram games this year since I am done with the NFL and wasnt going to watch this one but i have not had a chance to see wentz play who was the QB everyone in LA thought for sure they would draft and wanted so it will be interesting to actually hear the commentary from them on the two QB's.oh well whats one more game than originally planned to watch.

Show me once where I said where the Rams are playing?

So you can't answer my question, so you are a liar. Thanks for admitting it.

Next up on the Rams schedule are the Vikings, Saints, Cardinals, Eagles and the Seahawks. I wonder what their record will be in five weeks.

I won't be sold unless they are 12-3 after that. And they better beat the eagles

The Rams have far and away surpassed my greatest expectations. I think the team is for real. I just wish that if they are going to go "retro" as it pertains to the uniforms that they do it all the way. The gold and white uniforms with the blue and white helmet doesn't match at all........

If they come out of that with wins over 2 out of 3 then they are for real. if they go 0-3 then they are a joke

The Eagles really haven't impressed me that much but the Saints have been on a big time roll. The next few weeks will be interesting for sure. The Cowboys are done, sadly..........an Eagle win against Dallas will not be impressive to me. They looked horrific today. Chaz Green was a joke and without Sean Lee, they can't stop even a mediocre running game.

Maybe the cowboys get up for the eagles next week because of hearing all week they have no shot to win and the eagles are too good

Without a decent left tackle, the Cowboys have no shot. Tyrone Smith at 50 percent is better than what they put out there today. Garrett sucks as a head coach.........bottom line.

I been watching the NFL since 1987 and seen many of times a team who was expected to win end up losing. No game in the NFL is a lock which is something I learned 30 years ago.
