That's a workplace. You just can't stroll into a steel mill or a coal mine unless you have specific scheduled business. Why not for the capitol?

Although, IMHO, most Congressional sessions should be done "virtually" with the members in their districts.

Steel mills and coal mines are private property. The capitol is public property.

Rerasonable limits have always existed. Such as one cannot simply walk onto the senate or house floor while they aere in session. They have a public viewing gallery for that.

But the building still belongs to the taxpayers not the congress.

This is the same thing the South did. That started a war. This won't do that (we most fervently hope and believe) and it probably won't be repeated. Just the same, this was a direct attack on the Constitution, as well as any dignity that can be ascribed to the Republic. Those having perpetrated this deserve maximum judicial punishment.

I never said that. Please learn to extrapolate correctly or withhold comment. I said they tried to get redress of their grievances with the government as the system is supposed to allow to have the clear proof of malfeasance plainly examined and tested for veracity and the corrupt system still under the same problems laid out in detail fifteen years ago by the Carter-Baker Commission on Election Reform, but were blocked by a legal system both unwanting to take responsibility and UNWILLING to do so because it had a clear objective of getting Trump out of office by all means possible.

Otherwise, the courts wouldn't have relied on thin technicalities and the government-media complex wouldn't have flatly denied the evidence had any merit without having even examined it.

The irregularities of Biden's election are simply mathematically and statistically IMPOSSIBLE. But if they ARE indeed so "baseless" as all the media told you then the democrats and courts should have tested and PROVEN it wrong and it would have saved this country all the mess this country now has and the far greater mess soon to follow.

Had the courts tested and PROVEN the election was indeed fair and all the evidence false, I'm certain that 99% of Trump's followers and those concerned for election integrity would have accepted it and moved on instead of what we have now.

The election wasn't illegal. It wasn't stolen. It wasn't rigged. He lost. 65 lower court cases and 2 SC cases should have told you..NO EVIDENCE!!, and after Electoral certification you guys lost it, so a plot was hatched to overturn the election by staging an insurrection on a day when a Constitutional procedure was taking place in Congress. Anyone who was on the Capitol grounds that day is guilty of sedition and treason. End of story. The video coming out hour by hour is bone chilling.
