Here is another story of radicals attempting to -- some would say succeeding -- abort the free speech of other Americans:

Apr. 17: A man looks for help as an anti-Nazi crowd converges on him, suspecting him to be a white supremacist, at Los Angeles City Hall.

People here have supported the idea stopping or stifling the voice of the Family Phelps from protesting at the funerals of returning warriors.

Do you support this type of action, action that is counter protesting? Do you support out shouting others who are exercising their rights to free speech---attempting to prevent them from exercising their free speech rights?

Do you support people doing this to the Family Phelps?

I bet lots of people here are on both sides of these issues because they lack firm principles. They posses only a firm sense of ideological lunacy or worse, party affiliation ---over principles

Nazis called themselves National Socialists, and the USSR called itself socialist, and China calls itself socialist, and Cuba calls itself socialist, and so do many other organizations, governments, etc. But, if you study socialism as a philosophy then you would know that these organizations aren't socialists - they just used the title to dupe the working and lower classes into revolting and putting them into power.

If you want to better understand or see what American socialists believe or think - you can get a pretty good idea looking at the economic and governmental systems of Western democracies in Europe.

Two: All arguments that the left is socialist and liberals and Democrats are supported by the socialists are bogus.

This is common misnomer, often confused by anti-Americans; OKA: Leftists, who ignorantly, or perhaps FOOLISHLY believe that the 1st amendment in the US Bill of Rights, within the US Constitution guarantees that the US Federal Legislature will not make any laws limiting the means of the individual from speaking; thus precluding the power of the US government from usurping the means of the individual to exercise their divinely endowed right to speak freely.

Their principles allow them to identify when free speech has gone over the line from a right to law breaking, disrespect and abuse of others. Once past these points, free speech may not be free speech.

Free speech was meant to protect us from the government supressing opposition. Now you expect us to believe it is meant to allow you to spout profanities, yet restrict where you can see the ten commandments; allow gays to express themselves in schools, but keep religion out. Even in the world of USMB there are limits. They serve a useful and needed purpose.
