The "unarmed" label IS accurate, especially when there is no accompanying video to support some lying cop's allegations that their prey tried to grab the officer's gun. Even the article you cited uses the word "reportedly" in describing the excuses posited therein in reference to cops killing unarmed Blacks. That single adverb throws serious doubt on the veracity of your premise.
