Question for gun enthusiast.

Bullshit. There is no credible effort for a prohibition on guns. We have regulations to limit unsafe use of alcohol. You can't drive while drunk. Why not have common sense regulations for the top cause of death for children?
This argument is a false narrative and has been proven many times. Gang and thug related gun crimes that include 15, 16, & 17 year old gang bangers are included in those stats, but keep spewing the false narrative.

Then when you use the term common sense, one would think that not involving oneself to be in a gang or add to the terrible street crimes in our inners cities would be common sense, yet, here we are. One would think that common sense would tell a young individual that crime, thuggery, and illegally possessing firearms is bad for society, their own community, and inner family, but, here we are. The over whelming vast majority of legal, law abiding gun owners aren't the ones that you have to worry about.

This video is the perfect example of our legal system failing. CAUTION, for some it maybe hard to watch.
Summary: Criminal is out on parole after 14 years from two previous murders. Thug goes to a bar, which is closed to the public, is asked to leave, but refuses. The situation escalates outside where the thug pulls a gun and shoots 3. Then, after the initial shots, walks up to the victims and executes them point blank.

The thug, IMO, after murdering two, should have never seen the light of day again. But, someone let him out on parole and would love to know the justification that allowed the thug out of prison.

Also, we all are aware that most of these criminals/thugs illegally obtain their weapons. That IMO, is where we as a country, legal law abiding gun owners should stand up against strawmen purchases and shady dealers and the justice system must have harsh, harsh penalties for gun dealers that knowingly distribute firearms.

So, you think that just because thugs don't practice common sense, the concept of common sense is not valid?

Got it. Just like most MAGAs, you think laws just don't work.
Huh... this absolutely makes no sense. The problem is not necessarily the laws, but the penalties of the laws. I can tell a child, don't wright on the wall, and if they do, and the penalty is inconsequential, guess what, not only are they enabled to repeat, but test the waters on other rules. That's what we are seeing today. Repeat offenders, slapped on the wrist, or their crimes negotiated to lesser charges, which allows lesser penalties. Which then leads them to be released sooner and repeat. It's fairly common sense...

Describe in detail how the law against murder prevented the two time murderer from killing again.

I will wait.
You gotta make up your mind. Laws help protect us or they don't. You can't have it both ways.

You've made your point. I understand. You are convinced laws are useless. When did you first decide to be an anarchist?
