This was a lame excuse then they first used it. The GOP had 4 years to get a better candidate. And they had one with DeSantis. Trumps first 4 years was as much of a disaster as Biden's 4 years. And yet, he still got the nomination.



Bragging about the government increasing revenue from the American consumers..... That's hardly anything to brag about. Cutting spending the right way. Not increasing taxes.


The correct way for Trump to win the midterms is to start demanding a balanced budget from Johnson. And vetoing any bills that spend more than they take in. Force Johnson to be fiscally conservative. But that's not going to happen, because Trump doesn't care how high the debt or deficit gets. And neither does Johnson.
Right now, the only real promise Trump has kept was the border. Something that DeSantis would've done. And even gone a step forwards by taking out cartels with drone strikes.
