I’ve been considering this off and on. I am going to say what I’ve been thinking. I have a real issue with the whole story.

First. Professional athletes are tested with no notice four times a year in the NBA. Tested for Drugs and two of the tests can be for steroids or HGH. So the odds of a Pro Athlete doing this knowing they will get caught is low. And she would get caught.

Second. International competition always has drug testing. And she would get caught. Especially with Russia’s reputation of using Steroids. Everyone has Russian Athletes pissing in the bottle so often that hardly a drop hits the water in the toilet for the entire tournament.

Third. Even if she didn’t think they would search her luggage at the point of departure. They would search it when she arrived. So this experienced traveler wouldn’t be that dumb.

Finally. The people making the claim is Russia. The same nation that lies about the time of day. I mean we have to believe the headquarters for the Pathological Liars Association for the story.

First of all, the NBA and WNBA suspended all drug testing in 2020 during the COVID outbreak, and has yet to reinstate it.

Secondly, depending on the test used it can only be detected for 3-4 weeks. The more a person uses, the longer it stays in the system with THC because it can be stored in the fat cells.. Only an occasional user, you would be good in as little as 2 weeks. Take a joint once a month or so, then it is generally easy to avoid detection. Especially if you do your use right after a drug test. The W/NBA only tests their players 4 times a year, so they can smoke up all they want during the off-season, just stop a month or before the camps start for the next season.
