Putin Agrees To Trump’s Peace Plan, Squashing Media’s ‘Puppet’ Narrative

On Thursday Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed tentative support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine. This comes amid ongoing negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict that has persisted since Russia’s invasion in 2022.
During a news conference at the Kremlin alongside Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Putin acknowledged Russia’s agreement “in principle” to the U.S.-proposed ceasefire. However, he stressed the necessity of addressing the “root causes” of the crisis to ensure a lasting peace.
Putin stated that several details need to be sorted out before finalizing the ceasefire agreement. “The idea [of a ceasefire] itself is correct and we are certainly supporting it, but there are issues that need to be discussed,” he said, according to an NBC translation.
“I think that we need to talk to our American colleagues and partners. Maybe call President Trump and discuss it together.”
“But we support the very idea of ending this conflict through peaceful means.” Putin added that any deal must “proceed from the fact that this cessation should be such that it would lead to long-term peace and eliminate the root causes of this crisis.”

On Tuesday, Zelenskyy agreed to a U.S.-proposed 30-day ceasefire with Russia, aiming to halt the ongoing conflict that began in 2022. The decision followed extensive discussions between U.S. and Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia. In response, the United States resumed military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
President Trump, who has been vocal about his intentions to broker peace in the region, expressed his optimism regarding Russia’s response to the ceasefire proposal. Following discussions with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, Trump conveyed his hope that Russia would “do the right thing” in response to the ceasefire initiative.
Reuters reported that Trump described Putin’s statement as “very promising” but “not complete.” He also expressed willingness to speak with the Russian president to secure a ceasefire.

Zelenskyy addressed the 30-day ceasefire plan on Telegram, stating, “Ukraine accepts this proposal, we consider it positive, we are ready to take this step. The United States of America needs to convince Russia to do so.”
“We agree, and if the Russians agree, the silence will take effect at that very moment,” he continued. “An important element in today’s discussions is America’s readiness to restore defense assistance to Ukraine and intelligence support.”
“Ukraine is ready for peace,” Zelenskyy wrote. “Russia must also show whether it is ready to end the war — or continue it. The time has come for the whole truth. I thank everyone who helps Ukraine.”

Commentary:
The Quisling Media hates Trump. They’ll blame him no matter what occurs. If there’s peace, they’ll say he gave too much away, if there’s war they’ll say it was his fault. Surely you know how the press functions by now, right?
He did not agree to an immediate unconditional ceasefire.
The terms of the peace deal have yet to be discussed. We know what Putin’s terms are. He’s told us over and over. However, it's a first step in the long journey toward peace for Europe..
Russia will delay and try to capture Kursk. This war needs to end....

How is that ceasefire going?

Kievan regime cancelled it not in two weeks, but in two days. As if anybody expected from them anything else. For Zelenskiy and his cronies the word "peace" and the word "death" are the same.
How is the weather in Moscow?

Pretty nice. It's getting warmer.
2 degrees above zero of Celsius (roughly 35 F), a bit rainy. Spring is coming, and all of that.
Why?

A stupid lie, of course. Your propaganda is weak sauce.

Putin of course doomed it by piling on new demands, even though the fat rapist had already included everything he had asked for.

Because Trump is a moron who thinks Putin is his pal.

And yet, MAGA cannot see that Poootin owns him.

Russian demands are more or less the same that were back in 2022.
  • Demilitarization, denazification and neutral status in Ukraine;
  • Demilitarization of Eastern Europe - in Europe;
  • Multipolar world in the world.

Biden, Trump, Vance, whoever else might agree with those modest and justful demands at easy way, or we can do it hard way. Right now the USA can lose some formal (but not real) influence in Europe. After the first salvo of Russian ICBMs launched - the price of peace will be significantly higher for them, and will include, among other things, Alaska and California (and if you retaliate - 90% of Americans will die in one year).

You conveniently forgot Ukraine giving up 20% of their territory. MAGA has a short memory.

It is part of "denazification". New Kievan regime, of course, should recognise free choice of the former Ukrainian citizens - past and, of course, future referendums.

Of course, Trump only has leverage thanks to the Biden Administration and the coalition he put together to help Ukraine.
Annnnd, there it is, the latest desperate attempt to gloss over the lack of effort and progress from Quid Pro Joe.

On March 28, the AFU struck the Suja gas measuring station in Kursk Region, using HIMARS MLRS, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
After the Ukrainian missiles struck the Suja gas-measuring station, a severe fire broke out, after which it virtually ceased to exist.
How long did the agreement to stop attacks on energy infrastructure last there?

Who would have doubted that this is how it would end up? (sarcasm mode off). But now it's worse for the khokhls than for the russians. For the russians, it means that they can continue to put forward new peace initiatives and beat up the khokhls at the same time.

Man, you are going to repeat the story with Minsk agreements. Or at least you try to play this game once more. And this game will be finished by the same way (but on the higher level of violence) as were finished Minsk agreements. Russia will nuke English, French, and, may be, American nuclear sites.
And we will Nuke you Ivan.

So Fuck off. I still think you are Uke in here pissing us off.

Be glad you have Nukes or we would kick your ass for fun.

Disarm NATO. LMAO

Come disarm us. LMAO

If grandma had a dick, she'd be a grandpa.

By the way, remind us when was the last time the US kick someone's ass for fun? And I want to hear about a developed country, not a Third World country or primitive tribesmen.
Just don't talk about Germany, which had already been weakened in WWI and WWII before the US got into real fighting.
I'd like to hear about it.

Turned your tanks into scrap in the middle east.

You are overrated.

And we will Nuke you Ivan.
You won't nuke us, if we eliminate most of your nukes by our first strike.

So Fuck off. I still think you are Uke in here pissing us off.

But we have nukes, and that's why you can't be too provocative. You do something really stupid and we push the button.
