You are thinking of a school board like Congress or something when in reality it is a bunch of people from the local community who meet once in a while. They are not exchanging bags of money in a smokey backroom. Teacher pay is negotiated between the union and the school district, not voted on in Washington.

Not in the early grades. Illegals look at public schools to feed children and provide child care. As children get older they leave for work with gang affiliation. Some will stay in school selling drugs for the cartels.

Our enrollment here is up 80 students. Hiting more teachers. They just got a 7 percent raise.
