I never thought the BBC would get involved in a conspiracy by a bunch of blokes to cover up the real reason they weren't home for dinner after pub closing (they were pissed). But it was well done, I have to admit. Trouble is it only works once.

The best thing about a blizzard is getting to know your neighbors again. As long as you don't lose your power and you have enough to eat and drink, it gives you a reason to relax.
