Psaki lies about price of Turkey

Cheapest I saw this week in Safeway and Kroger were $1.77/pound as opposed to $0.97/pound last year. Those are the "membership" prices. I didn't see any of the traditional "Spend $XX and get a free turkey" offers but I wasn't really lookin 'cause this year I am NOT cooking!

We only buy fresh never frozen turkeys with no injections. I'll brine my own thank you very much.

We paid just over $3 Bucks a pound for it, total cost was just over $50 bucks for a 15.37 lb bird.
Totally worth it!!
Butterballs wont take to brining since they've already been loaded up with with crap.

Yeah,thats why we always get a bigger turkey than we could ever eat between the Wife and I.
We vacc seal the extra meat and make Turkey/veggie broth with the carcass to use later for Turkey pot pies.

Turkey chili is awesome. No... seriously, it's awesome.
You can also make turkey salad just like chicken salad.
Turkey is also good in Asian cooking, they only reason they don't use Turkey is because Turkey is a North American bird.

I've never done homemade turkey chili . The hash has always been my favorite.
