The state never wants any accountability. The new law that makes it illegal to film police. Journalist groups and many people are protesting it as undemocratic but the police union say the law doesn't go far enough to protect them. What do you think of it?

Ok, that is somehow different from what you claim. "Cannot publish images of police officers with the intent to cause them harm" is not a ban on filming them.ok here is a link. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRMeXEwyN7E

Who decides what is intended to cause harm? I think that is what the protesters want to know.
even when they take a piss break?....Police should be filmed every second they are on duty.
Laws against it do nothing but insure that there is as little oversight of police as possible and considering that they are granted massive powers over the people they are supposedly protecting that is flatly unacceptable.
There are (or at least were) several states here that had such laws. That they have been allowed to stand as long as they have is a travesty.
