You need to take money for your welfare system from somewhere. And more and more with the time. While the ability of your society to earn money is shrinking.

That somewhere should be the tax dodgers and a good start would be to stop sending billions to Ukraine and fueling wars.

Why work in a country with a good welfare program.

I know from experience, a friend was made redundant shortly after the covid lockdowns. Welfare picked up the tab for her rent, council tax, and paid her some. So she went to see the doctor, got signed off as ill, so the job centre had to stop chasing her to get a job, and her benefit money shot up £300 per month. She's not bothered about holidays etc.. and when she goes out to do her mothers shopping, her mother lets her get some groceries herself. So why work?

So Labour won't be her fan trying to rob down her capital !!

Well if those Dodgers don't want to pay tax they should stop masquerading as super patriots in the UK, and many already do live overseas so if the others don't like it they can get the hell out, lst time i looked Dyson the vacum guy moved some of his operation out of the UK to the far east and lives in the South of France, and yet he was a big Brexiter, the irony of it, Sunaks wife is one of them, as for Global Britain i don't even know what they are talking about, i suppose it means whatever they want it to mean it's just a slogan.

In what you can be sure is that those guys will do everything to save their money (and I can't blame them for that, every one would). If it takes changing residency or re-registration their businesses somewhere else - they do that also, of course. Especially if they get their revenues from abroad.

Global Britain is lasting spasms of former empire. Big guys in London don't want to descend to discussing fishing quotas with Iceland or moving goods throughout the Irish Sea. They were born for big games with China or in the Middle East or in the Pacific or.. Doesn't matter how pathetic they look now.

I am just a poor political prisoner. But I used to read many car magazines in my young days. I owned all issues of Auto Motor Sport starting from 1978 for example.

Small businesses have often struggle to survive. They might try to rip off people.

Europe is no longer an industrial and financial powerhouse of the world. It has plenty of competitors, it lacks recourses (that is more and more expensive over the time). Basically, it is the main reason why their 'social states' will fail.
