Dear USMB Mods and Members:
May I suggest we host a national contest to design the best, worst, or funniest
bathroom signs. They can be symbols, words, whatever. They can be serious
like the Kroger sign that went viral. Or silly like someone's suggestion to
segregate by "Indoor Plumbing" and "Outdoor Plumbing".
How about the traditional: He/She/It or Men's Women's Janitor?
If an official contest site could be set up, this could promote USMB as the sponsor,
and even raise money by selling ads or having the public pay $1-5 to vote on best sign, worst entry,
most and least politically correct, and funniest.
I think this contest could be fun, and raise money for nonprofit groups that provide work for vets either as security guards at restrooms or in construction to build or renovate single stall or unisex restroom facilities, in order to accommodate either transgender or other victims of rape, assault, harassment,
bullying or other crimes, who may require certain safeguards to feel comfortable in bathroom facilities.
What do you think? Don't you think America needs to lighten up on this issue?
Can we combine serious solutions and fun jokes in the same contest?
