And stayed there for over a year before falling slowly back to 7.5% by the time he left office. Clearly Obama's economic strategy has been more successful. Reagan never had a quarter with over 5% growth in the economy.

Oh stop it. The mid term elections turned out the way they have been turning out for a hundred years. The Republicans were predicted by history to gain control of the Senate and it turned out to be the lowest voter turn out in a half a century. You act like the election indicates some kind of mandate of conservatism. The only mandate it indicated was that the voters were tired of a do nothing congress that they want one that might do something. In all likelihood they will be disappointed and flip the Senate again in two years.
