In the US (I know its not your home country) we have the First Amendment. So **** off.
18 U.S.C. § 111 addresses the crime of assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain federal officers and employees while they are performing their official duties. This statute is part of the federal criminal code and outlines the legal consequences for such actions.Key Provisions
General Offenses
- Forcible Assaults: It is illegal to forcibly assault, resist, oppose, impede, intimidate, or interfere with designated federal officers while they are engaged in their official duties.
- Former Officers: The law also applies to actions against individuals who previously served as designated federal officers, provided the actions are related to their official duties during their term of service.
Penalties
- Simple Assault: If the violation constitutes only simple assault, the offender may face a fine or imprisonment for up to one year, or both.
- Aggravated Assault: If the assault involves physical contact or the intent to commit another felony, the penalties increase significantly. Offenders can be fined or imprisoned for up to eight years, or both.
Note that simple assault includes threats.
