They haven't been doing space exploration. They've been doing climate change and DEI crap.
Elon's team did the real work. These engineers apparently can't.

Musk hasn’t actually done that
He hasn’t come close

Save your bragging for when he actually has
He's already doing what NASA can't do, and singlehandedly saved the agency. No reason to doubt this.

NASA has been to the Moon and explored Mars

Space X has linked up with the Space Station

Your leftwing pals said private companies went to the moon. You're saying otherwise? So why did NASA stop space exploration in favor of climate conspiracy theories and woke nonsense? And why should taxpayers pay for that?

OP seems to be a big fail.
I give it a D-
But you can't lend any substance to your comments because that would be shooting off your own feet!

Frankly I'm surprised that mentioning social inadequacies of the private section, hasn't been declared off topic yet!

I posted something with substance and on topic. And you whined. Go figure.

I give your worthless comments an F

Ladies and gentlemen, once again, it has been proven private ingenuity, drive, and competence is superior in every way to government. Any task which is engaged in by both private and public sectors, private beats the pants off it

Take this recent rescue of the NASA astronauts. Wouldn't have happened without Musk and Space X. Said former astronaut Charles Camarada: "Elon Musk saved the Space Program. if it weren't for Elon Musk, we would not be able to fly US astronauts from US soil to the International Space Station. There is no doubt about it." So my question is: What the hell good is NASA? Why are taxpayers forking over $24 billion a year to NASA? So it can push the bogus climate change propaganda?

This reminds me of the Wright Brothers. In 1903, the brothers were in a race with the United States government to fly the first airplane. Government engineers spent over $70,000 at Langley trying bigger and bigger engines. The Wrights were on the beach observing the flight of birds. Over a three year period, they invested about $1000. We know how it turned out. The two private guys won, using a very small engine, but superior aerodynamic design. The private sector beat the hell out of government.

It would be the same with Social Security. It has been shown private investment of funds earmarked for SS would earn FOUR TIMES the return that SS gives.

Let's please eliminate the hell out of government, and give as much as possible to the private sector. Things would work so much better. Trump and Musk are trying to do that very thing. The resistance to this public good, naturally comes from the left, who wants to maintain their power and greed at the expense of the American people. Mr. President, let's first unravel the leftwing media, so we can start influencing hearts and minds for the publc good, then we can get to this desperately-needed transformation

Loot and Scoot

Government is inefficient by design. The fake Statists' real goal is to drive us into the hands of their fraternity brothers in the private sector, whose greed, elitism, and incompetence have caused every economic downturn.

The Wright Brothers were severely slowed down by a rational fear of such GreedHeads stealing the aviation techniques they had invented. Their Challenger was that an Army officer got killed on one of their early flights.

Yeah, so why do we need NASA? No one is answering that.
Look! Up in the Sky! It's a Comic-Book Fantasy.

The toxic ruling class needs NA$A to pacify potentially dangerous High IQs and turn them into childish escapist astrogeeks creating a shiny Trekkie circus.

The runaways know that the real question is, "If you're so smart, why haven't you made the rich richer?"

Rejecting that future as Cash Cows for the Corporate Cowboys, they didn't have the guts to follow logic deeper into an even more real question, one that the plutocratic parasites were afraid they'd take action on, "If you're so smart, why haven't you made the rich poorer?"

These escapist nerds are neutralized to prevent their revenge.

I'd like to know what actually happened to all the offspring of the Paperclip Nazis that once filled the ranks of NASA and the CIA and other government agencies. I've actually tried to research that a bit from time to time and it truly seems that someone has swept up the tracks behind them. The US government not only helps them get here and gave him the keys to the city but they help them launder their past. Obviously foreign investors of all kinds including Israelis have their finger in the pot these days. But what happened to those people? Is there a secret war between The offspring of the original paperclip Nazis who are still connected to our military industrial sector and Israel or have they actually joined forces to claim America?

If we take out of the conceptual framework of “capitalism” the deception of the “invisible hand of the market” (blind faith that thieves will set up a boarding house for noble maidens in prison, killing and robbing), then what we are left with is exactly what we see behind the window - bloody monsters who have gone mad with greed.

My son is a retired engineer. He just turned 55. He was supposed to out west on a meeting but informed the hr person he's retiring as of the end of the next day. He never got on that plane. So proud of him. He now works part time from home consulting. Winning.

Which system works better than capitalism?

Does the honeybee pollenate the flower for the sake of the flower? No. But the flower benefits.

Some things work that way. Self-interest helps the group because people are motivated by self-interest to come up with all sorts of great ideas.

Which system works better than capitalism?
Strange people claim that the proof of the failure of the socialist system of economy is the collapse of the USSR.
What should the collapse of capitalism look like? As it looks to me, it is collapsing right before my eyes - no bourgeois theory works. There is simply nowhere to fall lower.

On what pillars does the bourgeois idea rest? The free market! Oh!
And where is it? It doesn't exist in any country in the world - everything is strictly regulated. One way or another, everyone comes to planned mechanisms of economic management to solve critical problems.
Freedom of speech? Looking at how the most reference mass media lie at the behest of the “Party Committee” - everywhere long ago there is no freedom of speech and everything is controlled.
Democratic elections? Today the thieving clerks of the EU openly specify which candidates are allowed to be chosen and which are not. Up to and including criminal charges.

Everything is kept on the snot called PROPAGANDA. And it leads to the logical outcome - fascism!
Capitalism imitates life only through wars, blood and lies.
It is the stench of a corpse that infects everything around it, decomposes, destroys.

The Soviet system fell not because it was unviable - it proved its viability in conditions under which countries with other economies would have simply disappeared. But because it had a place to fall! Like any healthy organism, if it is infected with a serious disease. Which is what happened.

But a decomposing corpse, where to fall? The only thing left to do is to make up, to smudge the lips, to apply blush, and to pull strings to simulate mobility. But how do you hide the stench?
I mean, really, where else can it fall?
