Zone1 Neil deGrasse Tyson EXPOSES MAGA DEI Hypocrisy LIVE on CNN Show

I was first introduced to Tyson during the T.V. sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" and was intrigued from the start because African American astrophysicists are not that common, at least I don't recall ever encountering any growing up. And Tyson voicing his opinions on AI and how it can be used to benefit humanity rather than harm resonated with me and made me much more interested in learning what AI is all about especially after he mentioned that they used the books he's written to help train the AI models.

And he is often cited as the most prominent Black astrophysicist in the world, so there's that.

...Neil deGrasse Tyson explains how he almost didn't pursue astrophysics because he didn't see himself represented in the space program during the Apollo era and moon landing missions. The conversation gets even more intense when discussing NASA diversity programs being shut down, Black History Month pages removed from NASA website, and recognition of minority astronauts and women astronauts being deleted entirely. This is progressive political commentary analyzing how rolling back DEI initiatives affects merit based hiring and whether removing diversity equity and inclusion programs actually promotes fairness or just creates different forms of favoritism. Neil deGrasse Tyson makes an incredible point about a four star Air Force general with aerospace engineering degree being replaced by less qualified candidate, exposing the hypocrisy of anti DEI arguments. We discuss space policy, NASA leadership changes, scientific community response to political interference, and why representation matters in science technology engineering and mathematics fields. This video examines Elon Musk behavior on social media, his attacks on NASA astronauts and scientists, and the broader implications of billionaire influence on government space programs and federal agencies. If you care about science education, space exploration funding, diversity in STEM careers, progressive values, social justice in scientific institutions, and holding powerful people accountable, this reaction video breaks down everything you need to know about the current state of NASA and the American space program under new political leadership.

Tyson can't define a woman.

Makes him a poor example of a scientist.

What I want to know is where OP’s long quote came from...

It came from the description of the video at the source, YouTube.

It really takes just the most minimum bit of effort to get the answers you seek. Even you could do it. But I doubt you're truly interested in where the quote came from..

YouTube is the source?! What is the source of the YouTube video?

Why don’t you tell me, and based on that, I can decide if the video is worth my time.

America is already great, Trump is a step back given he is a convicted rapist, a felon, and habitual liar. But America is backward too as Trump beat two women - any man would have beat him and saved the ignorance and stupidly of his administration and policies. But Americans are slow learners and the evil he has done to immigrant children etc etc is on their conscience. One wishes sometimes there were a god.

America is on its way down. As is the goal of the globalists, and their allies the Marxists.

The only evil being done is that which those groups are committing. Trump is fighting their evil acts.

Face it, YOU are the bad guy's.

There IS a god. That is why Trump is president today.

You’re too much of a hateful, brainwashed leftist to realize it.

Convicted? No. You lied.
By definition only. He faced no consequences, and those that charged him apologized to him. Doesn't seem like a legitimate claim.
and habitual liar.
As are you.

Are women not capable in your eyes?

According to him the world is ending soon.

Greg
The GOP is literally only relevant because of Christians who believe the same. Project much?

And I don't think he is saying that. You've been misinformed, for decades most likely.

Watch out Republicans are going to pearl clutching issues like what is a woman. Who cares? The guy who asked that question is dead. So is the question. I feel we all know what a woman is. Only you are confused. What is a woman? Yes we agree. Move on.

Is Scott Bessent a DEI hire? A gay man 5th in line to be president? And a man who has adopted kids? I thought that was a no no in GOP world? He must be a special yes man who knows all Trump's secrets to get hired despite his sinful ways.

Did you know that the Space Shuttle program cost the US tax payer $25,000 per pound to launch into orbit. After the Obama administration canceled it NASA paid the Russians over $4 billion dollars to catch rides on their rockets.

SpaceX's Falcon 9 heavy is launching for around $2500 per pound and that price will fall even more when the Starship starts lifting cargo and astronauts. That's the broader implications of billionaire influence on government space programs and federal agencies.

Tyson is a smarmy asshole. If you want to listen to a scientist who isn't a condescending shit Michio Kaku is the best.

Speaking of DEI and NASA..we lost 2 space shuttles and damn near lost a third one...how did DEI cause that? Oh wait, it was middle aged white guys. Shouldn’t we conclude that all middle aged white guys are incopetent hires then?

I didn't say anything about DEI , but if you want to go with incompetence causing astronaut deaths government bureaucracy was the cause. I know you loons hate it, but private industry is the future of space travel. NASA is the past.

Government workers are C- level competence. So, yeah..middle aged white dudes who were incompetent.

But that will be true no matter what color they are. Government workers in general suck.

Tyson is more political than scientific. He supports every left wing belief with no regard for secience

Tyson is one of the high priests of the Science religion, maybe the highest. When people said "trust the science," they were making religious statements.

There are people who practice actual science, not the religion, but they still need funding, and that goes through very religious routes in institutions.
