I found this. I'm not too knowledgeable about price gouging legislation, but this suggests a lot of Republican states introduced this in the Covid period.

Texas had it, Utah, Kansas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana to name a few.

They must ALL BE COMMUNIST... seeing as this is the ONLY reason I got for Kamala being a Communist... her support for price gouging legislation.

The difference is, Democrats call profits to businesses and inflation price gouging. Mostly, they have been talking about grocery stores which operate on a 1% to 2% profit margin. That's nowhere near price gouging. Price gouging is price gouging. When a grocery store sells an item for $1, the overhead for that item is 98 cents, so they are making 2 cents on that item. And democrats call that 2 cents price gouging.

Stop talking about "States". That is irrellevent. States are very large (they are basically entire nations) and they have a variety of cultures and different areas with different politics.

The legisation passed by these states wa for specific circumstances not for election year polling and historically any country that has tried this on a national level regretted it. Nixon tried this in early 70s and he ended it after three months.

1. Those were during covid. This isnt. This is inflation caused by the government.
2. During covid, some republicans also locked down their states for a period. People were bitching about that. If "republican" is your standard for communism, you are an idiot.
