The French did not have the offensive capability to invade Germany at that point. The Germans had the Czechs surrounded on three sides. They'd have crushed Czechoslovakia within weeks

A blockade wouldn't have worked like it did in WWI because Germany would have just kept trading with Italy (which was still neutral).

And yet the Czech’s still ended up flirting with Communism.

More like, they had it imposed on them after the war, as did the rest of Eastern Europe. That was because we ended up needing Stalin to beat Hitler, and then acted all surprised when he collected his winnings.
