President Trump Press Briefing re: Supreme Court Decision

Gorsuch and Barrett were selected by Trump for SCOTUS and then stabbed him in the back. Very disrespectful.
Trump may well have expected "loyalty" but he failed to grasp that those judges pledge loyalty to the constitution not the president who appointed them.

Trump broke the law, he should thank them for upholding it like a true patriot would.

Why do I know more about how your system of government functions than you do?

Well I've had a tough week, looking forward to pouring a good brew and watching your namby pamby cry baby of a president throwing his toys out of his cot, this and Andrew getting arrested! can it get any better!

Democrats are children. Everybody knows that. It is exemplified on a daily basis with tantrums all across the country in the form of protests.Congressional Democrats and Supreme Court justices are no different.
Did you happen to catch Trump's temper tantrum today after the decision was released?

He's pathetic.

But protests, the right to protest one's government are defining characteristics of a democratic system.

Perhaps you'd prefer to live in a country where public protests are illegal? well I hear Saudi Arabia is a good option, no income tax, think about it, even your hero trump can't offer that!

Wrong. It is Roberts and his cabal, who are not only pathetic, but openly ignoring power delegated to the president to impose tariffs.

The 1930’s tariff Act, also known as the Smoot-Hawley Tariff, allows under Section 338, the president to impose tariffs of up to 50% on countries that discriminate against U.S. commerce.

The irrefutable fact is, Congress has delegated broad powers to impose tariffs on other countries. The Supreme Court is not vested with power to meddle in policy making decisions of this kind.

Trump said he was issuing tariffs based on IEEPA.

SCOTUS said the law doesn’t allow that.

If Trump wanted to issue tariffs under other authority, he should have said so.

If he’s too stupid to do that, it’s his own fault.

I thought it was characteristic of Trump’s enablers that they would cite the Smoot Hawley tarriff. universally viewed as one of the most disasterous pieces of legislation ever passed.

Not sure why this modern concoction of Republicans and so-called conservatives maintain such contempt for the Constitution.

It's a heck of a thing...

Thats a shame. That was a nice tool for getting world powers to do the right thing. Oh well, I guess we can just go back to using military threats and missile strikes on nations when they dont fall in line. :dunno:
Does anyone still listen to the Conman in Chief?
