President Trump Press Briefing re: Supreme Court Decision

The problem is that Democrats want our country to be at a disadvantage and will fight against tariffs.

No, the problem has been presidents doing things as if there is no bound to their limits. It's like when the Supreme Court prevented Biden paying off student loans though use of the HEROS Act which was beyond the use authorized within the legislation.

So other countries can place tariffs on us, but we can’t return the “favor”?
Yes, that's correct.
We're right back to being weak-kneed Uncle Sucker again.
That's because we've become a dumb country, with dumb judges, dumb legislators and dumb ideas.
Pathetic.

Sure we can, but we can't do it under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). Gonna have to find another way.

Pence on Social Media today looks like the pissed off ex-girlfriend in Carrie Underwood's video, smashing the headlights of boyfriend's car and slashing his leather seats.

Not true, while you may think comparing Apples and Oranges makes for a coherent, credible, and valid argument it's been proven that there are "Distinct differences" between those rulings and instances.

note: my2¢ "the Supreme Court struck down a 2022 plan to use it for broad, one-time loan forgiveness"
Current Status:
As of mid-2023, broad student loan cancellation under the HEROES Act is not available following the Supreme Court decision in Nebraska v. Biden. The Act remains valid for specific, targeted relief, such as for military service members, but not for widespread, one-time debt forgiveness. Borrowers looking for loan forgiveness should explore other programs like Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) or Income-Driven Repayment (IDR) plans.

100% true IMHO.

This was the right decision.

The cases may be apple and oranges but the role of the Court remains the same in keeping the president within his rightful lane.

I think he'll find a way to do the tariffs based on another law, similar to what Biden did with the student loans fiasco.
The Trump admin already laid plans for that, but so has the opposition to Trump admin tactics and strategies.

Trump's New World Order has not been very good for the USA or for any order in the world.

Democrats wont ever approve of anything that Trump does. It doesnt matter if its good for the country, they will still vote no.

Congress is broken. It no longer functions in a beneficial way for US citizens. There is never any consideration for what would be useful. Its just pure politics on the democrat side. They make zero concessions and they never listen to reason. There is only pure partisan politics now.
It is the same on the Republican side. Most of the job of "governing" is learning to compromise. Trump and Republicans in Congress don't know how to do this.

That’s what he just said in his speech, although I didn’t follow it entirely. (I’m multi-tasking.)
