President-elect Donald Trump has nominated former federal prosecutor Todd Blanche as his deputy attorney general. Blanche represented Trump in several of his legal cases.
He previously worked in the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Southern District of New York.
"Todd is an excellent attorney who will be a crucial leader in the Justice Department, fixing what has been a broken System of Justice for far too long," Trump said in a statement.

This one is largely flying under the radar cuz..........the zone is flooded. It's another break from the unwritten rules former prez's have always followed. Namely, not naming your personal attorney to high positions in government.
Blanche being the guy who was not only excoriated by Judge Merchan for his inappropriate courtroom antics but also denied Blanche's motion for a delay in sentencing because Blanche did not make an objection available to him before the trial began.

Let's start with tens of millions of unvetted, uncontrollable, many of them criminal minded migrants invited to flood the country. That is probably the single most glaring and hugely damaging scandal of the 21st Century.
Let's continue with unprecedented lawfare/militarization of government used against political opponents including Catholics, parents attending school board meetings, etc. etc. etc.
The 6 biggest FBI scandals under the Biden administration
The FBI has faced a handful of scandals under the Biden administration, including a New Year's Day terror attack that left more than a dozen people dead and others injured.
Moving along to billions promised to college students in student loan debt forgiveness after SCOTUS ruled that it was unconstitutional to do so.
How about trillions of pork and waste forced into necessary spending bills greatly and unnecessarily swelling the deficit.
How about DEI policies that replaced competence, ability, aptitude, capability with partisan based gender, sexual orientation, skin color?
Then there was pressuring the MSM and Social Media to discriminate against anybody on the right and suppress information embarrassing to the Democrats.
The evacuation of Kabul may be the single most embarrassing images of government ineptitude ever seen on public television and certainly constitutes a major scandal of government malfeasance.
And the media and government coverup of Biden's increasing and incapacitating dementia is another unprecedented scandal of major proportions.
All this and more was recognized by a majority of American people who could see past the government and media smears of President Trump to what Trump offered as a much better deal than anything they got from the Democrats in the last four years. It definitely helped Trump get elected.
And hopefully the next four years will be a return to a normal America who will forever declare the Biden administration to be about as abnormal as it gets.
