Trump is going to make D.C. safe for normal people......the political class is safe...the congressmen and senators......their staff, not so much......but normal people are the prey for a criminal under class that has been grown, decade by decade, by the democrat party....

DC has its own mayor, city council and police. It is not federally run.

The need to have the national guard come in and impose order on the lawlessness comes from the city having become a war zone besieged by savages. The problem of violence is exacerbated by a system that refuses to arrest, refuses to prosecute and refuses to incarcerate. They can then point to a significant drop in crime.

DC should not have home rule or be controlled by any gov but the fed. It was designed for that purpose. So no state would have jurisdiction over the federal government. Home rule in DC should be abolished. It has become nothing but another democrat district.
