To be honest all congress really has to do is to make shopping for health insurance across state lines legal.

He is kinda throwing some of the big corporate interests under the bus, which is always a good thing, but really only verbally without doing much about it.

The Trump planis very real and very workable. Idisagree with the government being responsible to provide health care to "everyone." But given that we seem to have meekly accepted that idea after obamacare was foisted upon us, Trump's suggestions for how to improve the government's role are very good and should be implemented by Congress as soon as they can flesh it out.

Crepitus perhaps this would be a more productive thread if you would explain exactly what your objections to the Trump plant are.

I support REDUCING the amount we take from someone to give to another, and giving Americans $2000 a year directly is cheaper than giving $8000 a year to insurance companies on their behalf.

Nobody can get insurance for $2000. Tens of millions can not afford the other thousands it would take.
