Peter puffer buttplug was a failure at everything he ever did. He has as much chance of being president as Sammy the luggage thief. That he would even be considered is an indication of just how bankrupt democrats are.

The D's have a thick bench. Tlaib, Cortez, Crockett, Presley are the new generation. I could see Cori Booker has a good choice for the nomination if he decided to transition.

The real problem with Buttigieg is that he's a rather vanilla LGBTQ+. If he started dressing in drag and become more "in your face" and adopted more of the LGBTQ+ lisp, it would raise his prospects IMHO.

Pete Buttigieg is expected to forgo a run for Michigan’s open US Senate seat in 2026, according to two people familiar with the former transportation secretary’s plans, setting up a potential presidential bid in 2028.

Buttigieg was calling fellow Michigan Democrats on Thursday morning to tell them of his decision. He is expected to publicly announce his decision later Thursday.

Following the retirement announcement by Democratic Sen. Gary Peters in late January, an adviser to Buttigieg told CNN he was taking a “serious look” at a Senate campaign.
