Look. this thread is on gas prices. I would be happy to debate you on the moral foundation of MAGA if you start a thread. MAGA is based on people like you, struggling with your self worth, so you fall in love with Trump's message that you are special and all these other groups are evil and bent on destroying you. Its a message that is easy to see through, if you wanted to. Most of you guys dont want to see. You keep your eyes averted so you can feel special and better than these groups you pretend to despise.

Dude, YOU brought up our moral foundations and now you want to run away.

RUN FORREST RUN

Its $3.59 where I live, $.10 down overnight

The lib energy fiasco in California is pushing the nationsl average up
That's not accurate nor supported by facts. Its super high in Florida and its all relative. It was much lower in your area last year and you're not seeing gas prices dropping on average. Some random one off does make your point.

That's actually breathtaking. That's so fundamentally anti-American. And the liberals just loved it. I swear they were living their best lives during Covid.
Start a thread on that too. This is on gas prices. I’d be glad to compare emergency action during a global pandemic to the everyday illiberal policies of the GOP.

Its 3.75 in Tampa

Which is about $1.50 over the pre war price

But thats $.85 lower than in california

Hard to compare states as you know due to other factors. That’s why we look at the averages of all of them for a clue on trends. I’d be shocked if prices start falling like you seem to be saying. I still think the national number exceeds $4 soon.

Its not hard to compare when libs in california are so anti oil and refineries are shutting down in the state

Now CA is importing gasoline from foreign countries

The timing is atrocious. The war will drive up inflation as the economy starts to stagnate.

I think there’s a word for that.
There is never a good time for high energy prices unless you are a clueless greenie who wants to ban the internal combustion engine

That’s not accurate man. Quit being crazy.

How much renewable energy does Texas use? Renewable sources (wind and solar) frequently provide over 50% of Texas' electricity during daylight hours, often exceeding 30%–40% of the total grid load. Texas leads the U.S. in wind generation and is rapidly expanding solar, with renewables now providing roughly 30% of total annual electricity.

If the economy was thriving and people weren’t already stretched thin because of inflation, it wouldn’t be such a big deal.

Why Trump chose to start a war now is bizarre. He clearly didn’t think things through.

Texas is not truing to ban oil

California is

And those policies have consequences which are higher gasoline prices in the Golden State

Now this leftist is calling the Iran Terror Regime a “random” country.

The fact is these antisemitic leftists are FOR defending Ukraine and AGAINST defending Israel because….Jews.

Um, Zelensky is a Jew.

Ukraine is experiencing aggression from Russia. (Although the Russians do actually have some valid concerns about the treatment of ethnic Russians, but let's not get off track here.)

Iran isn't invading Israel, Israel is invading Palestine.

Higher energy prices are always a big deal

And never good

In red states like Texas or Florida the higher prices are temporary

But in Democrat controlled California they will not go away when the war ends

You’re wrong. Higher gas prices in a thriving economy are not a big deal.

Why would Trump chose now to inflict this pain upon Americans?

Look man. I just showed you Texas is getting 30-40% from renewables. They are leading the nation in it. You are just blissfully thinking about your childhood and not thinking about how stuff works or what is going on. California, like Texas, is embracing green energy for real reasons.

Imagine how little we’d care about the gas prices if we weren’t tied to them? Pollution is less. All kinds of good reasons that aren’t aligned with the right wing religion to burning black tar. Cray cray.

Because the threat from Iran of ICBMs and nuclear weapons is a bigger problem than the temporary spike in oil prices

Except Iran was nowhere near getting a nuke.

(And an ICBM with a conventional warhead just isn't a big deal.)

We had a perfectly good treaty with Iran to limit their nuclear program. Trump tore it up.
