Zone1 Preconditions for keeping the Sabbath.

not so, the heaves deem their creation, life and garden earth to be kept holy - sorry that offends you, take your animosity up w/ moses and judaism they too are responsible for the misinterpretation to instead go lazy and take a day off from work.

* not anyone's fault they are mistreated by employment than their own to allow such to be the case.
We are to dress, keep, and subdue the earth. That's what I do on my little acre of responsibility. :)

I see Jewish gatherings playing in the park on Sabbath, so I assume they don't need rest.
Bad assumption. You don't understand the concept of "rest" and are imposing your idea of it.
Of course some do need rest, but do they actually rest or are they involved with other activities and rituals?
again, you create an inoppropriate binary and come to a false conclusion
Regarding physical work, when one thinks of Jews physical work doesn't jump into your mind. Not criticizing, Jes' sayin'.
it jumps into my mind when I watch my brother rebuild his deck. Maybe you are speaking out of ignorance.

So my friend the Jewish plumber doesn't do physical work? How about my friend the Jewish cop?

how is it judaism does not relish the work they perform - how would the distraught coincide with the heavens creation of life and garden earth as their celebration to be kept holly.

- as then the rabbit votes for the oppressors just for their martyrdom sabbath their own ordination ... they deserve.

you also are provocative, a religion of sinners who claim salvation from the same innocence subdued deliberately for that purpose than theirs they died for of liberation theology, self determination.

Lots of people working tirelessly on the sabbath. Its called the rat race.
.

You mean outside those who don't have any other option, like farmers, ranchers, health care and first responders?

how is that of any relevance to the heavenly creation of life and garden earth - to be kept holy ...

that is their failure of that heavenly ordinance why they are on earth to begin with ... definitely not to be confused by the false desert religions of servitude and denial.

Every response from you is subjective, your own experience. When I want general information about Jewish religion and life, I consult the information posted on the internet, written by Jews.

My concept of rest is from the Hebrew meaning of Sabbath: rest, repose. and those whose expertise is in the field of rest, and of course, my own experience over the past 50 years. Most people, including Jews, need more, and better, rest than they are aware of. Worse, most people have never gotten proper rest in their entire lives, evidenced by the unnecessary health problems most face.

You mean "Jews like me" -- why do you rely on some anonymous websources when I am right here with information? Is it easier to pick and choose when the websites can't correct you?

your subjective concept of rest is unrelated to the Jewish concept of cessation of creative work.

you also are provocative,
I hope so.

God told us to work hard for six days and rest on the seventh.

God told us to work hard for six days and rest on the seventh. He didn't mention pre-tearing the toilet paper.
God didn't use those words. He used Hebrew. How's your Hebrew?

I use the Hebrew dictionary all the time for my Bible studies.

What did the Hebrews use for tp before there was tp, and how did they prepare it for use on the Sabbath?

The Hebrew gives many word meanings choices. I pick the ones that make the most sense in the context of the discourse. For example, Eve gave (simply handed the fruit) to Adam and he did eat, should be rendered Eve put upon (nagged) Adam and he did eat.

Check it out for yourself and get back to me. ;)

Sounds like early feudal lords trying to figure out how to get the most out of the peasants and/or slaves without having them drop dead. After, it is the upper classes who have the knowledge and skill to write and reprint scriptures. I'm sure they were just so selfless in doing so.

says who?

you implied as such - or is it the monetary reward - the cop making 1 million a year is happier than $20.00 an hour ... the meaning of sabbath is completely obscured in subject matter to placate a false commandment. disobedience is the reward of servitude.

God told us to work hard for six days and rest on the seventh.

sinners should never speak for the heavens when they are in sin, provocative only enlivens the punishment.

* hint - your going to be on the chain gang till you enjoy it without rest.

No, can you read and understand the Hebrew?
What did the Hebrews use for tp before there was tp, and how did they prepare it for use on the Sabbath?
Why is that even a question. Ancient cultures used different things. You have a strange preoccupation with this.

To you, you mean.
For example, Eve gave (simply handed the fruit) to Adam and he did eat, should be rendered Eve put upon (nagged) Adam and he did eat.
The Hebrew there is clear. "and she gave" ותתן
