Why do Munchers freak when just the biggest Black Hole yet discovered is highlighted .
It's simply bigger than others and has zero effect on our Galaxy as far as we know , let alone our Prison Planet .

You do not have to be scared or frightened of it because you are unsure of its working details .

I know exactly what a black hole is. Apparently your problem is that you don't. The black hole was predicted and explained long before the first known one was even discovered.

Any idea what the first black hole discovered was?

Too little information, for instance, if TON618 is a supermassive black hole near the direction of Coma Berenices and Canes Venatici (which places it at right angles to the plane of the Milky Way looking north out through the top of the Milky Way where gas and dust are at their minimum (like looking at the Big Dipper) allowing us to see the farthest--- this is near where the Hubble Deep Field was taken), how can it be over 18 billion light-years away if the universe itself is only 13.7 billion years old?

That would place TON618 4 billion light-years beyond the rim of the universe! Or having been created 4 billion years before the Big Bang. More to the point, since we are blinded by the Zone of Avoidance (the informal name for objects beyond the plane of our galaxy since our galaxy mostly blocks our view of what lies beyond trying to look directly through the plane of the Milky Way), how do we know there are not more objects like TON in that direction, perhaps even closer than 618?

But who can say from the other side? Could it be a gateway to another dimension into something else? No one can either proof nor refute that claim without going there, and we are forever barred from ever going there and returning.

How can you say from any certainty from ANY side?

If you haven't BEEN to one, and analyzed it HANDS ON......then everything is conjecture and theory.

Anybody who bases an entire universal works on what happens on one infinitesimal spec of dust in it, is not a scientist, they are frauds.

Simple. We assume that the laws of physics hold everywhere and that the universe is deterministic. Which is consistent with every observation ever made.
