PRE-Convention bounce?

According to Tom Brokow, George Bush has somehow gotten a bounce out of the GOP convention even though it hasn't started. He was amazed (heard him on the radio).

Well, maybe it ISN'T a bounce, but people are just starting to see the REAL John Kerry. If he thinks Bush's recently good numbers in the polls are related to the convention, just wait until next week when Bush is ahead by 15 points or more. I am becoming more and more convinced that Bush is gonna win this thing something like 58 - 42.

Last night on CNN Bob Dole mentioned some study that shows the media alone gives the democratic candidate, on average, a 15% lead over the GOP contender. Does anybody know of this study?

This morning? or Last night on FOX they were talking about how Generally, the incumbant 'bounces' back to 'even' after their convention; the fact GWB is going INTO the convention virtually Even is a HUGE success. He stated no challenger has won without leading by double-digits coming out of the incumbant's convention.
