Brandon Browner is no longer a Seahawk.

Just back in the NFL having negotiated his indefinite suspension down to 4 games Seattle had had enough. Browner got the Pats to take a chance on a player that has no chances left.

The Seahawks won't miss him.

If Browner would have re-signed with the Seahawks, you would be in here telling everybody that Browner is a great human being, he should never have been suspended in the first place, and he is a sure-fire first ballot Hall Of Famer.

Hypocrite.

Let me get this straight.

You claim I would be extolling the greatness of Brandon Browner if he had been resigned with the Hawks.

Based on that assumption "I am a hypocite" ?

So you not only speculate on my thoughts but attack me based on that speculation ?

Why don't you have some patience and just attack me on words I actually say ?

Why on earth would I want the Seahawks to invest anything in a player that has been proven to be unreliable and ignorant ?

The Seahawks already have two players that have excelled in the Corner position once occupied by Browner.

One more screw up and Browner is banned for good.

True ... I have a lot of love for my team. They have come a long way in Carroll's tenure as HC. Schneider has been amazing at finding the best players to fill in the blanks building one of the best defenses ever in the NFL. Browner was snagged out of the CFL to help build the defensive secondary. He did that for a couple of years but failed to maintain his respect for the team. His problem with the skipped drug test that lead to his second strike was an odd situation but it was "his situation". Carroll wasn't his coach when that happened. He(Browner) was a member of a Canadian Football team.

I suspect that you think that Browner's situation is even further evidense that Carroll is a cheater.

Well ... If Browner HAD been signed by the Hawks I would have been dissappointed. The Seahawks are headed into a season where they hope to repeat as Superbowl champs. We do not need the distraction of Brandon Browner.

PS.. Poppagooedhimself and Gatsby are poopyheads. You biatches are just sour grapes. Hawks will rule this season as they did last season. Now go cry in your beer losers !!!

There is a PLETHORA (I love that word) of evidence in this forum that clearly indicates you are a Seahawks "homer", and also clearly indicates that you are a hypocrite.

I based my OPINIONS on your own postings.

you are a Seahawks "homer"

Duh !! Ya think ???

Having been a Seahawk fan since the dawn of time makes me a "hypocrite"?

That is an ignorant assumption ..not based in any fact whatsoever.

Water off a duck's back.

You fools are just pissed that your worthless teams couldn't get out of their own way last season. Furthermore..

Nevermind. I'm just happy to see that there is more to play for than just another measly ring.

Your wills being crushed AGAIN will make this season all the sweeter.

Go Hawks !!!

It's one thing to be a TRUE fan of a sports team.

It's another thing to be a FAIR WEATHER FAN.

I bet you bitched and complained and whined and cried and criticized and stomped your feet in disgust, during those many "lean" years when "your" Seahawks SUCKED.

A TRUE sports fan sticks with his team(s) through thick and thin.

A TRUE sports fan loses with GRACE and wins with HUMILITY, neither of which you possess.

It's ironic that your lack of grace and humility mirrors that of the vast majority of Seahawks players.

So what's next. Are you trying to figure out a way to have Sherman's BABY?

But I digress. This is all water off a dick's, er, duck's back, right?

You know nothing of what a true blue fan is.

You don't have the heart or any clue.

How many training camps long before pre season have you attended?

The Seahawks used to train in Cheney WA..200 miles from Seattle way across the state over the Cascade mountains. I used to travell there to watch the Hawks practice .. sleep in the back of a pickup.. I know the meaning of "training CAMP". I would travel there to see the new players working out and have face to face conversations with the players of interest ..mostly the QBs. I had opportunities to converse with Matt Hasselbeck when he first joined the Seahawks..and Brock Huard.

I was one of the only Seahawk fans that sat on the hill in Kirkland at the bible college and watched the Hawks work out long before they were ever any good. It was just me and the players wives, children and girlfriends.

One of my favorite activities in the early camps was to stand behind the chain link fence where they had a huge foam filled pit and the recievers would run routes ending in layout catches into the pit not ten feet in front of me .. I saw Steve Largent make at least a hundred catches like that. He never dropped one.

So don't try to lecture me on what a dedicated fan goes through to support his team.

ANYBODY can go to a stadium and watch a game. That isn't really A FAN..that is just a spectator. It takes a lot more perseverance to get up close and personal to the team when you are not really supposed to be there.

A supposed fan like you just runs his mouth and gets his info off his TV set. THAT is a fair weather fan. Untill you spend a few days out in the rain waitng for the drills and put in the effort and time it is so called fans like you that have no clue who are the best players on your own team.

Now a day you can get almost the same 411 on the internet as I used to in the old days. Practices are posted on teams sites. Combines are thoroughly documented. Players give lengthy interviews. It was nothing like that in the past.

So don't even think you know what it is like to support an NFL team when they are not winning.

You know nothing.

uh wrong.I remember back when the Hawks suspended him Huggy was talking back then saying good riddance,we dont need him.,he was bad influence:cuckoo: you're just sore cause the cheatriots picked up a loser on your team.:D

You're just being a sore whining loser because he correctly called before the season began that they would win the superbowl. It all the more hurts you that the Hawks won more so,since carrol is the former coach of your team.

People like poppagoo troll were laughing at him back in the middle of the season when he was saying the Hawks will be a dynasty.Guess according to people like poopagoo idiot, all these experts around the country like ESPN sports magazines that have said they believe the seahawks will be a dynasty as well, guess they are clueless like Huggy as well right?

I took Huggy serious that the Hawks were going to the superbowl this year because last summer before the season began, people from that magazine and other sports analysists on sports stations around the country were all predicting they thought seattle would go to the superbowl and win it this year as well.

Well I notice people like him are all avoiding all my call out threads rubbing it in how people could have been stupid enough to think the donkeys would win the superbowl.

you fell into that catagory of not being objective picking the donkeys to win because you did not want to face the facts that the AFC is so weak- "now that the Ravens lost half their starters" and that the pats just arent that good compared to his hawks.:lol:

the pats played like the Hawks USED to play like on the road last year self distructing.:D
The Hawks turned the corner last year winning their games on the road. They were impressive losing to san fran by less than a fieldgoal.

Im sure you remember which player it was of the pats who said they were glad they lost to the donkeys because had they won and made it to the superbowl,Bradys status of being a great big time quarterback would have taken a major hit worse than Mannings did since Manning already had the reputation of choking in big games where with Brady, his only two superbowl defeats against the Giants,he had a chance to win in the end with a touchdown.

He said they were happy the Pats didnt make it to the superbowl since it would have tarnished Bradys reputation as a quarterback winning in the big game since his team would have been the one blown out.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

there you go again making assumptions about him just like he was talking about.

you know totally absolutely NOTHING whatsoever about him or what you're saying.I have had pm conversations with him where he was telling me ever since they became a franchise there in seattle,he would go to their practice games and watch them and follow them from their very first practice sesssion in camp and stick with them through the lean years when they were really bad attending all their games back then.

what true fan DOESNT cry and stomp their feet in disgust during the lean years?
comedy gold.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::cuckoo:

You dont even seem to comprehend what a true fan is.:cuckoo:

a fair weather fan deserts their team when they are bad and doesnt start supporting them again till they win which is HARDLY the case with him.duh.:cuckoo:

even pooper troll was saying during the season that I wasnt a true fan like Huggy is.:lol::cuckoo:

Not realising the FACT that the seahawks are my SECOND favorite team after the chargers and I did not become a Hawks fan till Carrol became the coach and especially after wilson -"the missing piece to carrols puzzle",joined them.

Oh and I wasnt even a fan of them when they were winning back when they had Holmgren and Hasselbeck during the good times they had before they went bad again for the next several years after that.In the superbowl between the steelers and them,I honestly did not care unlike Huggy back then, who won that game.

I wont have any interest in the Hawks once carrol and wilson retire either .I just follow them closely now because I have always been a huge fan of carrol.I was a huge fan of your Patriots when he was the coach there.so of course,Huggy is much more of a true fan of the hawks than I am.:lol::lol::cuckoo:
I can find that quote where Pooper even said back then Huggy was a true fan of the Hawks.:D:lol::lol::lol::lol:
you guys cant even agree with each other on your attacks on him.:lol::D

Funny how because of ONE PLAYER Sherman, not winning with grace, that you lump him in that catagory. You just showed how cluless you are in your sports rants as always saying ALL the seahawks players dont win with Grace when you could only call Sherman out on it,the one bad apple in the gang.:cuckoo:

Carrol by the way had a discussion with sherman about that saying he wasnt happy with him acting that way.same as he had a discussion with golden tate after he waved bye bye to a defender on his way to the end zone immediately approaching him when he came to the sidelines sitting him down telling him thats not the Hawk way acting like that.

That just MIGHT have been an example by carrol to the other Hawk players in the future that carrol wont tolerate that kind of nonsense in the fact that the Hawks let him go.

That very well could have been a message from carrol to sherman and the other players, that kind of behaviour in the future on the field and in the microphone wont be tolerated.

I never thought they would let Golden Tate go.

A TRUE sports fan sticks with his team(s) through thick and thin.
that describes Huggy to a tee.

see you say you BET Huggy did all that which is untrue. You need to stay away from betting because you were ignoranl enough to predict the donkeys to win the superbowl and have just proven you dont know anything at all about Huggys loyalty to the hawks as well.:D

I could go and say I bet you whined and stomped your feet and deserted the patriots before they started winning superbowls but im not going to jump to conclusions like that since im bigger than that.

Who's to say who the "most" loyal fan is anymore. I don't go to the games. It's just TOO friggin loud at the CLink. TV has so many cameras and replays I feel unless you have seats on the 50 yard line 10 rows up there is no way the stadium experience measures up to tv coverage.

For me the research and first hand knowledge of attending the stuff that happens long before the first regular season snap sets the table for a great season for my interest in the Seahawks.

Like I said.. these days the internet provides an even better pre season digest than we enjoyed in the past.

There is no need to drive the 400 mile round trip anymore to see the Hawks practice. Every day during and after pre season practice the Hawks provide several in depth videos and interviews that give a serious fan all he has the time to digest in everything "Seahawks". There are twenty plus stories every day about the action past present and future by newspaper and TV journalists mulling over minutia.

I guess what "irked" me was the comment that I never paid my "fan" dues when the Hawks were not playing well. I don't have to prove anything. I didn't put in the time to satisfy idjits on the internets twenty years after the fact.

I guess what "irked" me was the comment that I never paid my "fan" dues when the Hawks were not playing well. I don't have to prove anything. I didn't put in the time to satisfy idjits on the internets twenty years after the fact.

what irked me about his post was assuming you were a fair weather fan and did not stick with them through the lean years when I knew you had traveled over 400 miles to their practice camps when they first became an expansion franchise in the very beginnning and did so for many years before we had the net.:cuckoo:

and when I said the most dedicated true fan of the hawks,i was referring to all the posters that post at this board which is obviously true that you are the most loyal true fan of all the hawks fans that visit this section.:Dthats a no brainer there.lol.

He's just hurt cause carrol won a superbowl and that Belicheat is on the verge of losing the title that sportscasters call him which is-the greatest coach ever from Carrol. He knows its going to happen as well when carrol starts winning multiple superbowls. He wont be able to refute that fact either since Carrol wasnt a failure in boston when he with the pats winning a few playoff games while there, where Belecheat was a complete washout at clevleland before brady saved his ass from the toilet. these sports announcers who say that are obviously not aware of that little fact about Belecheat.:cuckoo:

Soon Belecheat will lose that title as greatest coach ever to carrol since they will remember that carrol WAS successful with another team actually having a few winning seasons and winning playoff games while with the pats.they will have to acknowledge carrol was successful with TWO teams where Belecheat wasnt.:D

Carrol got wise from his experience in new england.dont know if you remember this or not-im sure you must, that when carrol joined the hawks he said he would not make the same mistake he made while he was in boston coaching the pats.

That while with the pats,he made the mistake of trying to follow the footsteps of Bill Parcells and do everything the way HE did it and you cant blame him because Parcells is right up there with Lombardi as the greatest coach ever.

He admitted he made a mistake doing that trying to it the way parcells did it when he first got to seattle and would not do that this time. That he would do things HIS way and coach the way HE knows how to coach.good thing he learned from his past mistake huh?

thats why I keep talling him,he needs to stick to politics,a subject he has some good knowledge of.or at least stay away from football and keep his sports discussions to baseball and basketball because he clearly knows nothing about football.:D

yep,Like I said,i remember very vividily having this discussion with you in a pm message how you did all that way back then. You're probably the most dedicated, loya and true seahawk fan out there.

I don't think Carroll fully developed his own style until he was hired on at USC. He had said that he would have done things differently in NE and NY but what that means is without the total control he got in SC. Carroll never had the backing and permission to coach the way he wanted in his early NFL days.

In a funny way I'm happy that Reggie Bush stabbed Carroll in the back and made it neccesary to move on. Seattle would not be enjoying the success they are as a team without Pete Carroll. I think that is what irks the rest of the NFL..that Carroll is supposed to be some kind of a sleeze bag because of what Reggie Bush did. I don't know that any coach painted into a corner the way Bush did Pete that could have handled it any differently or any better. It was just a stupid thing Bush did under the guise of helping his mother behind the backs of the USC coaches and ultimately Carroll.

I don't know about Pete being the top NFL coach or even in the conversation. That remains to be seen...but up here in the Emerald City working for Paul Allen Carroll has more intelligent ownership and head office support than he could be recieving had he landed anywhere else in the NFL.

I mentioned the season before last after the Atlanta playoff loss that the Seahawks were gauranteed the Superbowl and morally Paul Allen deserved the championship due to the way he saved the Hawks from being stolen by the dirt bag Californian real estate magnate attempting to take the team out of Seattle. I couldn't be happier for Paul. He stood tall for the fans of Seattle and the team paid him in ACES.

The addition of John Schneider was the cherry on top because of the way the two work together. John really gets Pete's program and coaching principals and provides the perfect players for the position coaches to mold into over achievers and winners.

I can't remember a team that has brought along so many late draft..undrafted ..walk on players into championship minded super stars.

yeah you aint kidding that Bush did you a huge favor.Me as well but for sure you in a major way.No way would the Hawks have turned the corner had they not landed Carrol cause yeah your right, till he got to USC he never got the kind of backing and support to be able to coach the team the way HE wanted to.

When he got to USC,thats when he started coaching the way HE knows how to instead of trying to imitate parcells.Oh no,Im not saying either that he is the greatest coach in the NFL either.Just that all these ignorant people in the future are going to have to stop saying Belecheat is the greatest ever when Carrol starts winning multiple superbowls. they wont have any choice but to do so since he was successful with TWO franchises.

I remember back then when carrol was fired from the jets organization, jets fans and players were unhappy with the move. they thought he was on the verge of turning that organization around and that he was never given a chance and rightly so.

For the first time in ages,he had them competing for the playoffs in the last few weeks of the season. It was the first time in years that the jets were not out of the playoffs that late in the season. They were usually already out of it by mid season.

thats how I knew back then that if Carrol was given that right opportunity and another chance,he would be a great coach someday. He couldnt go any further with the pats than he had because Bledsoe was washed up and Carrol was the patsy for Bledsoes ineffectiveness.Instead of dumping Bledsoe, they took the easy way out and fired Carrol.

cant wait till this upcoming season.no matter what the weather is,I am going to go see them when they come here to kansas city and cheer them on.I also plan to go out to san diego where a friend of mine lives when they go there to play my chargers. Now THAT game i cant wait for.my two favorite teams.

maybe that will be a monday night game.would be awesome if it was.The networks do like showing my chargers on monday night games even when they are having a bad year so that just might happen.

Had you been aware of how great wilson was from his college days like this one cheifs fan here in kc was,you would have been thrilled and doing cartwheels when they drafted wilson.

Unlike me and even unlike you,he WAS aware of how great wilson was going to be just from his college days because as i told you before, before the superbowl,I saw a guy at 7/11 wearing a chiefs jacket and i asked him who he thought was going to win the superbowl and he said he thought the seahawks would win.

He then went on to say that he was watching draft day that day and when wilson was still available in the third round he was yelling saying-take him, take him, nows our chance. and when he didnt take wilson like he wanted him to do,he threw his chair against the wall.:lol::D

That cheifs fan knew even before YOU did,how great wilson was going to be.He had no doubts wilson was going to be great from watching him in his college days so i think you can understand his anger when the chiefs did not draft him in the third round like they had the chance to?:D

"he threw his chair against the wall."

If you can't link a YouTube video it never happened..

A lot of knowledgable folks liked Wilson in college. I just didn't follow Wisconsin or Big Ten football in general. Honestly I can't remember anyone up here mentioning Wilson's name before the draft. I think Carroll was being super cool and crafty keeping his and Schneiders desire to get Russell Wilson under their hats.

yeah since even you dont remember it,I'd say thats a safe bet.Makes sense to keep it a secret.Had the information been linked, someone else would have snatched him earlier.

This is all water off a dick's, er, duck's back, right?

the other thing that irked me about this b.s post of his Hug is not only proving he knows nothing at all about you saying your a fair weather fan but also saying the ENTIRE seahawks team doesnt win with humility just because of the actions of ONE player, one bad apple not acting like a true champion,Sherman mouthing off like he did.

Now i could understand that comment if carrol didnt sit him down and talk to Sherman about that but it was very well known that carrol later sat him down and talked to him about that telling him he wasnt happy at all with his behavior afterwards, especially since it gave food for the fodder for the media to focus talk on one player, because his actions put the payer first instead of the team was his talk he had with him. Yeah one action by ONE player makes the entire team not lose with humility.:cuckoo:

But more than anything else though is what irked me about this uncalled for b.s post of his was calling you a hypocrite saying you act the same way sherman did -or in his mind-the ENTIRE seahawks team, when they win their games.

He needs to look in the mirror when calling someone a hypocrite because im sure you remember that one time when the pats beat the chargers int he playoffs in san diego where after the game, about FOUR players of the pats rushed to the middle of the field and started dancing on the logo of the chargers prompting Ladainlian Tomlinson and other charger players to rush the field and a fight ensued because of thre patriots childish actions of rubbing it in. Talk about being a hypocrite? he needs to look in the mirror.

It was only ONE player of the seahawks acting out of grace rubbing it in when they won, where the pats had like 4 players acting out of grace that time. amazing how he forgot THAT moment where his pats acted childish huh?:cuckoo:

man what hypocrisy.talk about being a hypocrite, talk about a football team that cant win with humility and cant win like a true champion.:cuckoo::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Lt even correctly stated after that game, that after they provoked him to go out there and get into a scuffle with them after the pats rubbed it in that they beat them showing off like that,Tomlinson correctly made the statement that them acting like that was the reflection of the head coach.so very true,he nailed it.
