That's it >> Post Your Favorite Irish TUNE (on St Patty's Day). Do it.

Not a bad idea.

I'm always loath to pick a single "favorite" anything but this is nice.

She's from Donegal which explains the strathspey but hey it's still Ireland.

My favourite Irish toast:

Here's to you and here's to me!
May we never disagree!
But if by chance we ever do ---
Then here's to me! Ta hell with you!

Actually, I asked for tunes (not songs) but thank you for your contribution, just the same.

tune
(to͞on, tyo͞on)n.
1. Music
a. A melody, especially a simple and easily remembered one.
b. A song.
c. The state of being in correct pitch: sang out of tune; played in tune with the piano.
d. Obsolete A musical tone.

This is ME (protectionist) playing the tune Rights of Man. Key of G on the mandolin. I botched it just a bit at the end, but it's 99% OK. Hope you like it.

When I was growing up The Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem were popular, and we had all their albums. This is one of my favorite of their songs (and the commentary that went with it was Ireland - the land of happy war songs and sad love songs).
